Dear Goa Woodlands / Hotel Management Team,
I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding an unpleasant experience I had at your hotel on July 10, 2025, specifically involving the receptionist on duty that day (Libra).
Upon my arrival, I found her behavior to be unprofessional and unnecessarily confrontational. The receptionist not only spoke in an arrogant and unnecessarily loud tone, but she also refused to allow any guest to visit my room without providing a valid explanation. When I asked to speak with her supervisor or manager to address my concerns, she declined my request. However, after a few minutes, I was informed by someone else that Mr. Yash Sir, the MD of the hotel, could be contacted for escalation. I asked the receptionist for his contact number or for her to inform him to call me back, but to my dismay, five days have passed, and I have not received any communication from him or any management-level follow-up.
It is deeply troubling that not only was I treated disrespectfully at the reception, but despite raising my concern and requesting to speak with someone in charge, no action has been taken. I also made sure to mention these issues in the feedback form, but to date, I have not received any acknowledgment or resolution.
If there were any personal issues she was facing, it is unfortunate, but they should not have been projected onto a guest. Such behavior negatively impacts the reputation of the hotel and reflects poorly on its management and service standards. As someone who values professionalism and courteous service, I believe it’s essential for your front-desk staff to maintain a respectful and calm demeanor at all times.
I sincerely hope this issue is addressed promptly, and I would appreciate a response acknowledging my concerns along with the necessary steps taken to ensure this does not happen again.
