Baan Talay

My only turn off is that there's no elevator, I have to use the stairs to the 2nd floor. I have a knee meniscus tear and it's not easy to use the stairs. But the staff gave an excellent service. The Property is very safe and clean.

The pictures do NOT match the property. It is very run down, my room had no security and could not be locked. It's not worth the price paid, but it's ok if you're a backpacker. Very convenient location

Room is spacious with wooden tile floor. Quiet at night for good sleep. Have balcony. Bathroom is ok, water pressure abit weak. Bed is comfortable, little bit hard maybe for some. Staff nice people.
Overall what you get for 20$ / night is superb.

Good location next to beach, and next to muscle factory gym. On street with plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. There is sometimes a little bit of traffic noise on occasion in rooms facing the street, but not a problem. Some ants will visit the room, if food is left in the trashcan. I like the place, the pleasant husband and wife owners take good care of the property, the rooms have hardwood floors, hardwood furniture, and tiled bathroom. Air conditioning works well. Price is very good. The place has more personality and feels more like home than some of the bigger impersonal hotels. I was very comfortable here and extended my stay two extra days.

Room was very clean, value for money as it was near the beach and the staff were friendly. On the negative side… the furniture was very tatty, there was 1 free plug socket, our room was very noisy as we were on the ground floor behind reception and the public seating area and the window rattled.

It was pleasant stay in this hostel. It is worth living in this offered amount, the area was cleaned and surrounding was pleasant and peaceful. It is bit far from the downtown. It is little difficult to find it on google map and Bolt app. It need to be updated on these sites.

Room was big and clean. TV was no LCD. Aircondition was working, but something damaged. Stuff friendly and helpful. Approx. 80m to the Beach, supermarkets at the corner!

Минусы: нет сейфа в номере, старые и не удобные матрасы, изношенная мебель, нет европейских розеток.

Kjempefin plassering like ved strand. Store rom, med kjøleskap og AC. Beliggenhet litt utfor den travleste delen av Pattaya, men mange barer, butikker og restauranter i nærheten og lett og komme seg rundt i moped-taxi.

12時にチェックイン出来ました。部屋もキレイで、Wi-Fiも問題なし。500バーツ以下で泊まれました。ただ、足が無いとキツイです。ソンテウも無いので、車がなければ、タクシーかモーターサイ無いと、厳しいです。ただ、足があれば、周りは静かだし、部屋も特に問題ないと思います。

I have stayed at Baan Talay over the years many times, as I live in Thailand and have done for 10 years. It's a basic but comfortable little guest house. It's no frills, as in there are very few added extras with the room. You get air-con, a TV (with very few English channels), free WiFi that was quite fast, a hot shower and a clean and spacious room for the relatively cheap price of 750 baht a night. Doubles and twins / double + single mixes are available. No breakfast or dinner or room service is offered and there is no pool or garden/proper outdoor area. I stay at Baan Talay for the convenience, good price and mostly - the location. It's a 2 minute walk to the western end of Dong Tan beach in Pratamnak. It's a very relaxed, reasonably quiet, clean and attractive bit of beach, just next to Pattaya Park. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the rooms are clean and comfortable. If you're after luxury this is not for you. If you want a convenient, affordable and basic, but comfortable place to stay in Pratamnak, then I would definitely recommend Baan Talay.

Good hotel in good quiet location, very close to the beach. On the minus sides: no elevator and quite steep stairs, which might be a problem for someone. In general, we enjoyed stay very much.
