The Hip Resort @ Khao Lak

Good hotel, good location and good private pool. We loved it very much!

Amazing location, beach was exceptional, breakfast was great. Kao Lak is a really fun place with loads to see and do.
It seemed the Hip resort wasn't being managed fully as it was part of another resort (where we had breakfast) so it was sometimes slightly tricky to get responses to our requests.
Bed was very very hard in the room so after 5 nights it was enough.
Also got washing done by the resort and it was insanely expensive, priced per item like a hotel. Cost about £40 to get a few kilos of washing done!

Quite and cozy location still good distance to interesting places and sights is Khao Lak Friendly staff and comfortable room.

Our villa was super comfy, a big room with a comfy big bed made up daily. A lovely terrace with seats and loungers with garden surroundings and nature sounds.The other villas were not too close to us so we felt quite private. Thai life resort that manages The hip resort had the breakfast facilities and swimming pool was a short walk to us. We didn't particularly enjoy the breakfast quality but it was handy and the cafe was in the beautiful garden of Thai life resort.The biggest plus for us was the beautiful beach a short walk away, this was one of the quietest and best kept beaches we encountered in Thailand. It was very peaceful and clean and we could watch the beautiful sunset and use the loungers and beach towels. Amenities like a few restaurants,a convenience store and tuk tuk stand were also nearby. We really enjoyed the mix of quiet and natural settings and easy to reach amenities nearby.

Parking. Lovely quiet surroundings. Near to a walkable to beach. Excellent breakfast. A lovely experience if you seek a peaceful location in a very Thai area. Local restaurant at entry to the complex.

This resort is about 25 minutes north of Khao Lak strip but that was great! Rooms were big with kitchenette and good A/c and clean. Breakfast was also really good. The beach is beautiful about a 10 minute walk but the resort also loans out bikes free of charge. The beach had a great little restaurant owned by the hotel but there were other choices nearby.

We'd read about the road being noisy. Personally that seems a bit ridiculous. It's a small road on the resort which is also used to access the Marriott next door. It wasn't at all noisy

The complex is in a very quiet location. Our Bungalow was really nice and spacious. We walked to the beach 10 Minutes (there are some sunbeds with shadow, beach was very empty, great for long walks). The breakfast was delicious!! You need a scooter to get away. Grab was not available.

Das Frühstück war für uns sehr ausreichend und die Zimmer sehr groß. Die Lage, nur 350m zum sehr schönen Strand war gut.

The superkind personnel working at this hotel. Some more talkative than others.

Breakfast was good! And they have free shuttle to closest minimart and to the beach. They use WhatsApp to communicate and it worked very well for us.

You can also walk if you want! Is not far, but very convenient when it's hot outside.

Free water and bottle refills whenever needed.

The beach is very nice.

Ich musste leider zwei mal den Bungalow wechseln (davon eine Nacht im Thai Life) mit Blick auf den See. Wirklich sehr schön! Wüde das nächste Mal dort buchen. Engfa (Stuff) hat mir meinen Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht. Danke dafür. Frühstück war inklusive und eine grosse Auswahl. Café Latte sehr lecker. Roller kann man an der Rezeption buchen.

Der sehr gute Service und das sehr freundlich ,zuvorkommende Personal.Das sehr gute Frühstück im Thailife Restaurant . Der Bungalow war geräumig Küche und Bad separat.Fahrräder wurden bei Bedarf kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt.
