Great hotel and location
Pros:

Lovely staff, great hotel and location, good food at restaurant.
Only 1 suggestion: check stained pillows inside the pillow covers, dues nor look good .
All the rest, amazing for price, the staff absolutely courteous and kind, thank you.

An unpleasant experience
Pros:

Did not enjoy our stay here and left a day early. The main issue was that we suspect that we got food poisoning while staying here. There is a chance we may have picked it up elsewhere, but we only had one meal outside of this hotel (which was a packed lunch on a trek), so it's likely that we got it from here. The food completely catered for Indians. There were western items on the menu, but they weren't available when we asked for them. We asked to be moved from our first room because it was in a very bad condition. The floor was made up of a series of straw mats and the general condition of the room was very shabby. The new room was better, but the bathroom was still very weird with no real separation between the shower and the toilet. Having said all that, perhaps this hotel simply doesn't cater for westerners and is completely suitable for Locals.
