Pros:

It is like a dream . Murni has created a wonderful sanctuary that is very unique even for beautiful Bali . Ubud has become over run with tourists and has truly horrible traffic congestion…. But Murni has a place which is sitting on one of the highest hills very near the center of Ubud and close to her fantastic restaurant ( Murni’s Warang is the first fine Balinese dining restaurant in all of Ubud on the main road perched above a river gorge the food is really great there )
The land she has built her Houses upon once belonged to the Royal family . Her collection of Art is exceptional and quite impressive . The Spa is a full service one and very popular and yet quite affordable . The “big house “ where l stayed has very lovely large rooms with a common room shared by only a few apartments where there is small kitchen even for share use by those on that floor . There is a small elevator with a glass wall looking upon the beautiful grounds many ponds and water features thru out the well maintained gardens . The indoor pool is like something from a dream …. Semi open air is so great because if you are very fair skinned like me to not have to bake out in the sun and wear sun screen is very important … it is always the perfect temperature too … not too hot not to cold …. Just right ! And most important to too me no stink of chlorine !
There is small high quality gift shop in the 24 hour reception and restaurant area . Security on site at all hours in in the walled compound

Peaceful stay with exceptional staff and great spa
Pros:

Excellent stay at Murni’s Houses & Spa. The staff were incredibly welcoming, polite, and consistently helpful throughout my visit. They gave great recommendations for nearby walks, helped arrange transportation whenever needed, and always checked in to make sure everything was going well.

The property feels warm, peaceful, and cozy from the moment you arrive. The grounds are beautiful and very relaxing. The spa was excellent and one of the highlights of my stay. I also really enjoyed the restaurant, with delicious local food and good options.

This property would suit couples, solo travelers, and families alike. I would happily stay here again.

Nothing significant. I enjoyed my stay and would return.

Relaxing and quiet accommodations- secluded whilst still in the heart of Ubud.
Pros:

Friendly staff. A family run property with lovely gardens and beautiful view from the apartment. Spa on site was great also.

A tropical oasis that’s exceptional value for money
Pros:

We had a blissful stay at Murni’s. The room was spotless, the bed was firm but very comfy, and the staff were so friendly. The gardens are beautiful and meticulously maintained. We loved the authentic Balinese design and decor. Stepping through the front gate, it felt like entering an old world tropical oasis. We also took advantage of the onsite spa — a beautiful, indulgent experience, which was exceptional value for money. And getting to give Flo the Labrador pats was a lovely bonus!

En Oase i Ubud
Pros:

Jeg bodde på samme rom i 4 uker for mer enn 20 år siden. Murni’s Houses er en Oase i det travle Ubud. Tilbaketrukket. Himmelsk tropisk have. Personalet er fantastisk imøtekommende og vennlige🙏💜

I would love to stay within again!
Pros:

The location and proximity to everything was great. Loved being on the hill away from any city or traffic noise. The room was big and spacious. A/c worked well. The staff was attentive and made our stay so sweet and serene.

Excellent location, beautiful grounds, warm and inviting.
Pros:

Loved the warm and inviting atmosphere as Murni was there to greet us. Loved the grounds, plants etc, and the massages were amazing. Great value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

The only thing missing was a bidet in the toilets. If we're meant to put toilet paper in the bins, then we need a bidet.

Tranquil garden oasis within the heart of Ubud
Pros:

Our 4th time staying at Murni’s Houses & Spa! We absolutely love it! A tranquil garden oasis within the bustle of Ubud. The staff are so lovely and make us feel at home. Kids love the pool after long day of exploring.
The attached spa is incredible and Murni’s Warung delivered delicious, authentic lunch and/or dinner to us daily, all beautifully plated like we’re at the restaurant (no takeaway plastic box!). The whole experience of staying at Murni’s House & Spa keeps us returning. Highly recommend!

Cozy and quiet hotel if you need to stay close to Ubud Central
Pros:

The hotel is in a lovely location, very close to Ubud Central yet quiet. I particularly liked a good, relaxing sleep. The pool is sometimes overlooked but it is lovely set up and provides nice experience.

Cons:

We stayed in a king room which is probably king in terms of the bed but not that large as a whole, unexpected. The hotel management is very attentive... very... a bit more than I would typically expect.

Exceptional!
Pros:

Thanks for a fantastic stay. No complaints at all.

We travelled with our 7 month old baby and everyone at Murni’s made our stay extremely easy and comfortable.

The location was ideal, just far enough from the centre that it felt quiet and relaxed but still easy walking distance.

The grounds are absolutely lovely. The pool is delightful.

We were also able to order food from Murni’s Warung (one of the best restaurants we ate at in Ubud, and extremely good value), which was delivered to the hotel in <20 mins.

They were also able to cater some baby-friendly items.

Murni’s was exceptional.
