Közel volt a Kossuth térhez.

Pros:

Das sehr freundliche Personal, die gute Lage des Hotels und das Frühstück-Angebot haben überzeugt. Wir waren als kleine Gruppe im Hotel und leider sind die Zimmer sehr unterschiedlich in der Qualität, ich hatte Glück, Zimmer 22 und 21 sind hell und schön - die Zimmer mit 1-stelligen Zimmernummern waren dunkel, Fenster zum Hinterhof bringen kaum Licht ins Zimmer und die Dusche ist sehr klein und im Raum eingebaut. Dass wir praktisch gleich viel für die Zimmer bezahlen mussten, war aus meiner Sicht nicht korrekt. Meine Fotos sind Zimmer 22

Cons:

Dass man die nicht so schönen Zimmer auf der Homepage nicht so darstellt und entsprechend deutlich günstiger anbietet.

Quando tornerò a Budapest verrò sicuramente al Cotton House.
Pros:

Arredamento in stile anni 20. Stupendo! Come fare un viaggio nel tempo. Camera spaziosa e comoda. Personale molto cordiale.

Very Disappointing for the Price Paid.
Pros:

The night porter was very helpful and arranged a breakfast box on my day of departure as I had to depart before breakfast was available. He also gave excellent recommendations for dining nearby.

Cons:

The price we had to pay when booking was grossly inflated due to the Champions League Final that weekend. The room was therefore extremely poor value and did not remotely match the price. The pillows were soft, the towels were tired and the shower was a hand held arrangement. The regular breakfast was ok rather than good.

- Lage ist gut und ziemlich ruhig, ca 7 Gehminuten vom Westbahnhof (Nyugati) und Metro entfernt.
- die Idee das Hotel tradionell einzurichten finde ich sehr gut
- auf den ersten Eindruck ist das Zimmer sehr gut, aber...

Cons:

- Wasserdruck schwankt sehr, wurde gemeldet, der Wasserhahn an der Dusche konnte angeblich nicht repariert werden, weil wir das Zimmer bezogen haben. Natürlich kann man den Hahn wechseln, sofern man sich Mühe gibt.
- Abfluss verstopft, wurde am nächsten Tag repariert
- WC Sitz nicht fix
- Das sogenannte Frühstückbuffet: armselig, Angestellten schnattern herum. Fragt man nach Kolbasz, bekommt man die Antwort: Entschuldigung, haben keine mehr. Hauptsache es kann weiter geschnattert werden. Dies bereits um 08.45Uhr! Sehr beschränkte Auswahl. Kleine Anmerkung: Kein Kolbász in Ungarn, ist etwa das Gleiche, wie keine Pasta in Italien.
- Nicht einmal Wasserkocher und eine grosse Flasche Wasser als Zusatzleistung im Zimmer!
- Taxi vom Hotel nach Keleti: Da wir sehr früh abreisten und eine Möglichkeit bestand, dass es ein Taxistreik gibt, bat ich das Hotel um eine Transport. Das sogenannte Taxi war dort. Aber so etwas von dreckig (nicht nur von Aussen), auch von Innen. Von Aussen hätte ich Verständnis gehabt, da Budapest ziemlich staubig ist. Aber Innen des Fahrzeuges, einfach schlimm. Dann wollte der Fahrer 13K Forint! Normalerweise kostet die Fahrt mit Trinkgeld (gebe in der Regel 20 bis 25%) des Fahrpreises. Ich zahle 10K und wer er kompliziert tut, holen wir die Polizei. Plötzlich alles ok. Ja nicht einschüchtern lassen! Ausserdem: der Zustand der regulären Taxis, Über, ... sind in der Regel sehr gut und vor allem sauber
- Lift: Wunder, dass wir nie stecken geblieben sind.
- Kurz gesagt: HÄNDE WEG VON DIESEM SOGENANNTEN 4 Sterne Hotel! Dies zu einem Preis von CHF 500.- pro Nacht! (Rund 200K Forint) Leider waren unsere Stammhotels (Danubiusz Hungaria oder Hotel Nemzeti) ausgebucht. Klar bessere Preise, toller und Service!

Pros:

Ich bin wirklich begeistert. Ein traumhaft altes Hotel in einer alten Stadt. Wer Romantik sucht ist hier richtig. Frühstück im Kellergewöbe, wie in einem Weinkeller. Die Lage ist perfekt. Nahe zum Bahnhof, U Bahn, Bus und vieles lässt zu Fuss erreichen. Viele Restaurats in der Nähe, aber auch Preiswertes Fastfood.

I did not appreciate the fact that for children we had to pay separately 25 euros per day for breakfast. Take this into account since there was no change in the room type, we still had a double room, no extra bed. For sure, the breakfast was never so expensive.
Also, the rooms are not sound proof and you could hear everything from the near building as they were talking with you.

Comfortable place
Pros:

The hotel is very well located, within reach for most of the attractions. Very clean - everyday they came in and took the garbage out.

Cons:

A lokációhoz képest jó ár-érték arány
Pros:

Nyugati pályaudvartól néhány perc sétára van. Nagyon esztétikus a belső tere, rendezett, tiszta. A szoba is teljesen az elvárásoknak megfelelő volt.

Cons:

A reggeli mellé adott kávé instant kávé ízű, de a recepción kapszulás kávéból készültet kaptunk, ami kárpótolt.
