It was okay.
Pros:

Their breakfast was superb!

Cons:

When the house keeping just opened my door room after knocking once. I mean how can they do that knowing that the room isn't vacant. I just came out of the bathroom and she was shocked, I was shocked too, and then she asked me if I need anything?. If I need something I will be the one who will go to the reception and tell them. It's the first time that something like that happened to me during my stay in a hotel. In other hotels, typically the staff is just outside and then they will knock like twice or thrice and leave if you don't answer.

Cotton house is in a fantastic location.

Great location and staff excellent very helpful

Cons:

When I booked I thought I had clicked for twin room but was given a double as I was sharing with a female friend we didn’t want to share obviously so I had to pay for another room. They explained that the room had no windows which was fine but there must be a water pipe/drain behind the wall which you occasionally heard the water flowing down like in a fountain but it was fine a room is a room .

Pros:

Hotel dall'arredamento molto caratteristico, abbiamo alloggiato nella camera 26 (una deluxe), spaziosa e dotata di vasca idromassaggio. Colazione abbondante ma prevalentemente salata, probabilmente a causa della scarsa affluenza di ospiti, sprovvista di un'ampia scelta di dolci. Posizione centrale, a quindici minuti a piedi dal Parlamento e dalle attrazioni principali.

Cons:

Pulizia da migliorare ma tutto sommato ambiente gradevole, unico neo è da riferirsi al ragazzo dello staff che ci ha "accolti" al nostro arrivo. È stato un po' scontroso e non molto educato, a differenza del resto del personale col quale abbiamo avuto modo di interfacciarci nei giorni successivi. Ad ogni modo, a livello di qualità prezzo lo consiglio assolutamente.

Lovely stay in a hotel with ambience and character
Pros:

We got champagne with breakfast!! There was bacon and eggs and sausages, but also the European cold meats, salads and breads with spreads and Nutella and everything you could wish for. There were all sorts of yogurts and cereals etc. The ambience of the dining room was awesome. Beautiful setting. The passages were filled with memorbilia from the past. Each door had a painting of a jazz artist on it and each room was named after such person. The decor in my bedroom was beautiful with replicas from Henri Telousse Letrec's paintings. There was a lovely table with two chairs in each room allowing you to sit down and enjoy a glass of wine. The air-conditioning is good. It was not overheated like some places.

Cons:

The hotel should offer guests a choice of cushions. I found the cushions too hard and the double bed had only single duvets, which I did not like at all. I spoke to them about the duvets and ask for a double bed duvet but they had none.

Moc pěkné pokoje. Hotel který má všude blízko a přesto není na rušné ulici. Doporučuji

Snídaně chutné. Obvyklý výběr plus vždy nějaká regionální potravina k tomu. Výborný personál - vyšel vstříc a pomohl připravit překvapení pro manželku (k oslavě výročí). Hotel můžeme doporučit.

Personnel très agréable mais équipement et confort très vieillots

Le personnel était très agréable, le petit déjeuner OK, pas mal de choix, et de bons produits dans l'ensemble

La chambre avait une odeur très singulière et entêtante, et le lit 2 places était en fait 2 lits 1 place collés, avec une planche soutenant un carré de mousse pour faire un effet lit 2 places. La planche tombée au milieu de la nuit m'a obligé à me relever, à retirer tous les draps pour tout remettre en place (à 3h du matin pendant un congrès...). De plus, la couette était minuscule par rapport à la taille du lit, à peine la taille d'une petite couette une place
