Amazing room size
Long walk to room
Leanne & the girls on breakfast were fantastic, best breakfast I’ve had this year, exceptional! My room was huge, brand new and like a large suite! Great price too.
Always a bug barer paying to park! (£10). Fitnes room closed due to air conditioning issue! On arrival only 1 on reception, hence checking in took a while!
Everything as a CCFC fan it was so good staying here with a pitch view room

Location
The bed was very uncomfortable and accommodation was very dated
Staff friendly room clean and comfortable
Air conditioning noisy couldn't turn off
Difficult sleeping
Bottles of water left in bedroom was extremely warm the rooms could do with small refrigerators.
Carpets could be renewed in the corridors.
Nice views to the football stadium
Good location, although our room was right at the other side of the stadium on its own next to a conference room (pitch view room)
The bathroom was dirty - still had shaven hair bits in the sink and the shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years
Loved how the room looked out over the pitch. Great little incentive when you have a football crazy partner who had no idea where we were staying!
The room was disgustingly dirty! The was a big football conference the next day so it was almost like our room was not an important factor with everything else that needed to be done for who was staying! Rubbish and hair on the floor, ripped bedding, Even our towels were dirty!
On site for exhibition
Sign in lift said gym was on ground floor. Went looking for it and it had moved to the first floor The weights bench was broken
The staff were brilliant! Special praise for the gentleman (Kenneth) who single-handedly manned a busy reception desk, with the queues not phasing him. Provided an exceptional service to each and every guest checking in.
I found a CONDOM wrapper in my room. Previous key card in the room slot. Bed not positioned correctly. The room would have been inspected and passed by housekeeping. So, between then and my arrival the room had been used - most likely by staff. I expressed my concerns via instagram direct message with Doubletree Hilton, they communicated and expressed their apologies, but I checked out 3 days ago and I am still waiting for a resolution. I also wasn’t impressed with the Fitness Centre being out of service. Had I have been informed in advance, I would have probably looked for alternative accommodation. Fire alarms were annoying. Announcements for fire alarm tests often went out on the tannoy after the first alarms ahead already gone off. I didn’t understand why so many attempts were needed. One ‘TEST’ happened at 8am!!!
The room in itself is comfortable, with good bed and air con. There was something odd going on with my bookinig, but the personnel was very helpful.
The shower is in a tub, with no bar to hold on to when stepping out of the tub - somewhat dangerous. The hot breakfast was not particularly good. A desk would be appreciated in a room of this level.
The football match room was brilliant.
