Location Frustration
Pros:

Nice room. That's about it

Cons:

No bar, no breakfast or food options as they only open those for match days. Option of going to the bar next door which isn't the most comfortable of places to relax

Not what I expected from a Hilton!! Shocking response to a complaint.. staff need to gain customer service skills
Pros:

Great location for what I needed

Cons:

Due to my mobility issues I asked at reception for a room close to the exit , they said they were full and couldn’t accommodate my request so I was given 137 which was as far from the exit you could get. The shower mat was stained. But worst of all was the issue with the toilet, this did not stop running all night so I didn’t sleep at all. I made a complaint at reception and was advised they would get maintenance to look. When we returned late and tired the issue had not been fixed..my friend left half way through the night as she couldn’t bear it I sadly didn’t have this option due to drinking the evening. Upon checking out, I told reception again and the young lady just stated I’ll get maintenance to go and have a look later… no apology no compassion , even when I showed her 2 videos 3 hours apart of the same thing she said nothing !! it was as though it was a perfect night in her eyes!! Sadly I had a four hour drive home which was very difficult due to the lack of sleep. Even a sorry would have been a start.

hotel is so near to the Grosvenor casino playing poker that it saves time and taxi fares
Pros:

i asked for a room near the elevator and i was very pleased that i received what i asked for also i always look forward to my warm tastiest biscuit

there was nothing that i did not like

We enjoyed our stay only a couple of niggles
Pros:

The staff are always friendly

Cons:

The mirror is far too high at the dressing table you can’t do your hair and makeup also there’s only one plug and it has a lamp plugged in there so you can’t dry your hair and have the lamp on at the same time. The remote control didn’t work on the tv.

The walk from the reception is literally around 15 mins and easy to get lost

Literally everything was superb.

Cons:

I would have given a 10 but the room service burger bun was so burnt it was rock hard!!!
My daughter was that hungry though she didn’t want to wait for another one.

In conclusion, I enjoyed my stay and plan to go back and lodge there for the second time.
