Nostalgisch liebloses Zimmer in einer heruntergekommenen Burgherberge.

Cons:

Zimmerausstattung war sehr dürftig und in die Jahrzehnte gekommen. Sogar Fenstervorhänge haben gefehlt, so das wir sehr früh morgens von den ersten Sonnenstrahlen durch das vergitterte Fenster eindringend geweckt wurden. Die Matratzen waren sehr dünn auf einen Holzsockel gelegt. Toiletten- und Uringeruch im Gemeinschaftsbad. Handtücher gab es gegen einen überteuerten Aufpreis!

Die Burganlage ist super. Tolle Aussicht, alle sehr nett.

Cons:

Die Frühstückssituation ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, da auch viele Feriengruppen dort frühstücken, was es etwas tumultartig und leicht chaotisch wirken lässt. Man kann sich sein Frühstück aber auch auf die Terrasse mitnehmen und dort in Ruhe bei wunderbarer Aussicht in den Tag starten.

Wundervolle Weitsicht vom Burggelände, gute reichliche Hausmannskost. Große Zimmer, ausgesprochen ruhige Lage.

Cons:

Der Parkplatz lag etwas unterhalb der Burg, daher muss das Gepäck den Hügel hinauf getragen werden.

Lekkere maaltijd. Prachtige plek. Je voelde de geschiedenis.

Cons:

Geen mogelijkheid tot opladen gsm in de kamer. Dat moest in de gang of in de badkamer. Geen lichtje aan het bed.

The rooms are simple, clean and very comfortable. It is incredibly peaceful. The breakfast buffet was fresh and hearty. The staff were wonderfully welcoming.
If you want to wake up inside a literal castle, surrounded by the misty canyons of Saxon Switzerland, Herberge Burg Hohnstein is an absolute hidden gem.
