Very nice overall facility. Room was a perfect size. The location of the hotel was perfect between down town Boston and Tufts University. Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast great along with breakfast staff. Morning coffee station very convenient.
Check in staff confused as to what was included in booking package discussed while making the reservation. The $25 per day was not discussed so I had to return to have it applied. The question of “would you like daily house keeping” was confusing. Of course we want fresh towels and trash cleaned in room. Although this point was discussed we had to find housekeeping daily to get towels and they never cleaned the room

The receptionist that night didn't tell me the exact place to park my car, and the following night my car was towed. The hotel didn't provide luggage transport to the room. Breakfast was not included. We stayed three nights and the room was only cleaned once. I travel a lot and this hotel left much to be desired. Sorry, but I'm being honest.
I have been coming here to this hotel various times over the last seven months for work and for pleasure. Sharon and Christine are fantastic assets to this hotel. They are very welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Great location, fantastic staff, and very clean.

very clean and quiet stay
We arrived around midnight and found a line at the counter to check in. If the Marriott app worked as well as its competitors (Hilton and Hyatt where I also stayed during the trip and was able to receive room assignment and mobile key bypassing the front desk), I would've been in my room falling asleep instead of waiting 30 minutes to check in. Instead, I waited in line as there were four groups from a cancelled flight ahead of me. I noticed another employee (perhaps a manager? He was flipping through papers) at the front desk not being helpful. Surely checking in customers when there is a line is more important than going through your papers. He disappeared into the back as we waited, probably to hide from the disapproving looks. The room itself was nice, but the check in process was horrendous. Additionally, there is a destination charge for this hotel of $25 which I'm sure is on the website, but since I made the reservation months ago, I did not remember. It would've also been nice if I was reminded at check-in of the destination charge and what it included ($25 food and beverage credit which I certainly would've used if known about it).
The hotel in my opinion was great with excellent service. The cleanliness was excellent as well. This hotel is conveniently located near our preferred restaurants. They were an under 5 minute walk. I was even able to go to the Lifetime Fitness gym. The only inconvenience about the restaurants was that they closed at 10:00pm. The hotel is also a short drive from Boston-Logan airport. This of course depends on traffic.
