Exceptional Hotel with great location for skiing
Pros:

Exceptional Hotel, in the middle of the largest ski area in the world. Recently renovated. Rooms are small to North American Standards, but are very modern, clean, and quiet. Separate bathroom and shower. Heated towel rack for any wet clothing. HD LED TV with channels with at least 9 languages. Innovative security system, doors, room, and elevator all accessed through your personal room card. Ski locker room in basement with individual lockers and boot heaters. Access to ski locker room from elevator inside or outside. Heated outdoor pool and hot tub with small building with sauna, steam room, and showers. Hot tub, steam room, and sauna inside hotel as well. Adjoining restaurant with access through front lobby. 1992 Olympic Rink Complex with pool, fitness centre, and bowling alley across street via a pedestrian walkway. Main ski area, Chaudanne Area with 3 Gondolas and chair lift are across the stree. This is the main area in Meribel to start and finish your day of skiing. Restaurants and retail stores all nearby. Meribel’s 3 bus routes all have stations across the street. This is convenient if you feel to tour around or to visit new friends in the area. All three routes are only 15 minutes up and down the valley. The staff is friendly and courteous and spoke a number of different languages.

Pros:

Excellent, accommodating staff. My room was definitely small, but close to the lifts and really just a place to crash anyway.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel in the most brilliant location in Meribel center.
Literally 2mins from the slopes.

Room was a good size very nice powerful rainfall shower, comfy beds, pretty good wi-if.

Only trouble we had was we were never given any robes in our room so were unable to use the pool or sauna. We asked for a robe but was never given one.

We were asked to move rooms (they did ask us if this was ok) on the last day where we had robes which was brilliant, the pool & spa is amazing. Shared with another hotel.

Only other negative point is the breakfast is €25 a person a day. We had it one day it was a good selection but expensive compared to what you could get in town. (There’s a spa supermarket up the road too).

Overall brilliant stay would recommend, nice staff nice hotel excellent ski room.

Thumbs up for Tremplin
Pros:

The only problem was your booking! We paid for the “with breakfast” option but on the phone helpline you denied that it was possible to check the with/without prices! I will never ever use hotel.com again.
The Tremplin however was perfect

Perfect position
Pros:

Just opening for season so no evening or lunch facilities available. However, very nice breakfast although scrambled egg was a little cold on buffet.Friendly and helpful service at all times and when no milk was available for a cup of tea they made the effort to immediately go out and buy some.
The position of the hotel is exceptional being right by the main lifts and the it has been very tastefully refurbished.Very comfortable rooms with double glazing to ensure no noise from road.Would highly recommend this hotel and I am sure the once the season starts it would be a fabulous place to stay.

Great on all levels!
Pros:

This is a super hotel in a great location close to the ski lifts, local restaurants and bars. People there are so accommodating and the hotel has a lovely feel about it. Rooms are lovely, quietly cool and serviced really well. The outside pool and jaccuzi is a must at the end of a long day skiing! Well go back!!!

Pros:

Pro’s- Great location at the bottom of the slope. Nice room & comfy bed. Staff very helpful and polite. Con’s. Bathroom was on the small side but ok for a short stay. Would have expected breakfast (at least coffee & a pastry) for the price of the room. Overall-Would go back again when next in Meribel.

TOO NOISY!
Pros:

Hotel sits above a bar that has loud music until 2am. Hotel is aware of the problem but does not disclose the problem to patrons nor do they have a viable solution to this BOLD problem.

Great Hotel Great Location
Pros:

Great hotel as close to the slopes as you can get in Meribel. Lovely spa and outdoor swimming pool/sauna. Underground car park and very helpful staff. We have stayed in Meribel and Mottaret a number of times and this is our favourite.

Very nice location. Great and friendly staff.
Pros:

We are a Chinese family from Canada. We really enjoyed staying at this excellent hotel. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The location is right besides the main base of Meribel. The ski storage room is very convenient. Overall, the experience is fantastic. Thanks a lot for all the help from the staff.

Pros:

Was attending a hockey tournament at the arena across the street. Great location. Unfortunately, breakfast was Spartan, as they were just open for the season. Excellent staff.
