Great great city centre hotel and good value for money
Pros:

Stayed here a few times good central location and staff always very helpful. We don’t/can’t walk very far so use taxis to get around which are very cheap.

Cons:

Hotel bar is always quiet but that is to be expected as the bet bar in Newcastle is right across the street ( the old George)

Nice clean room, loads of comfy pillows in bed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location was great, short walking distance to train station and nightlife

Overall okay but wouldn’t return.
Pros:

Very friendly and attentive staff. The location of the hotel was great not too close to the city centre but still within walking distance. The reception, bar and lobby area decorated greatly.

Cons:

Room was too warm unable to cool down. Asked for a double bed and given 2 singles. Tv is very outdated. Toilet flush was broken on arrival. Obvious marks on walls.

Dead central, great value and a breakfast worth paying for (just this once)
Pros:

Just off Grey Street, opposite the Theatre Royal. Fantastic value for money. Clean, stylish, no frills. A rare example of a hotel buffet breakfast (continental) that's worth the money.

Cons:

Nothing. No evening meals but there are loads of options only seconds away and you can order a toastie at the bar.

Tiny bedroom, cold and loud air con heater even when not on… breakfast was shocking sigh only toast as a warm option and minimal terrible choices .
