Great hotel, ticked all boxes other than drinks prices!
Pros:

Beautiful lobby and really comfortable bed! Location good and central, staff very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Service excellent but bar drinks very overpriced for very competitive surrounding area. Missed opportunity for encouraging guests to spend evenings in the lounges.

Comfortable stay. Ideal for us coming from Scotland for a one night stay.
Pros:

Location is perfect from train station and to plenty of coffee shops and restaurants. Hotel staff realky helpful, polite and kind. Breakfast buffet has plenty of choice. Would certainly book again and recomnend to anyone.

Highly recommended indeed!!!
Pros:

I absolutely loved my stay here. From the moment I arrived the staff could not have been any more professional and friendly. From organising an iron and ironing board to providing directions around the city and definitely not forgetting the extremely warm welcome at the bar. The cleanliness standards are very high and I would have to say on a level with my last hotel stay at a Hilton but at a much more competitive price. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone I know. I very much look forward to my next visit here. Thank you to all of the staff and management - excellent job.

The downstairs looked fairly nice

Cons:

The pillow shapes were uncomfortable. There was no fridge or anything like that just a cupboard that opened to coffee and tea. The room felt cold and could do with a refurb, the pictures look nicer, for £150 it could have been better
