I felt very welcome and comfortable and I would definitely stay again.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly on arrival and helpful including the reception staff and housekeeper. Chef was very accommodating and catered for my vegetarian needs both for evening meal and breakfast. Room was nice and big, clean and had all I needed for my stay. It is situated in a nice location just outside of Wakefield.

Cons:

All good.

Pros:

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We met up with family members and enjoyed a pleasant evening meal on the Thursday evening. The only downside for us personally was the fact that there was no chef for an evening meal on the Friday. This I think was due to the time of the year we visited. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would stay there again on my next visit to Wakefield.

Pros:

The rooms are clean and quite big.
You had a hairdryer and kettle. The breakfast was nice.
We had an evening meal, that was lovely. Nice and quiet.
Lovely walk to the lake, which is beautiful.
Had a meal at the Fix and Hound 5 min walk, that was lovely.

Cons:

The bathroom is tiny. It had everything we needed. It's just a bit awkward manoeuvring yourself to be able to shut the door.
On Friday night, there was no chef, unfortunately. So after a very long day at a funeral, we then had to find food!!

Fantastic Staff, Great Small, Clean Hotel
Pros:

Fantastic staff - very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Was really looked after. Great location, nice small, clean hotel - highly recommend.

Cons:

Limited availability of food. Breakfast aside, only snacks available during day and often on an evening. Short staffing meant only one chef and if they didn't work / off sick, nothing was available. Yes, eateries nearby but not always practical.
Having to repeatedly enter car reg for a long stay or worry about getting fined. I'm told this system's due to end shortly - thankfully.

Wonderful dog friendly hotel with great staff
Pros:

Location was wonderful for someone with a dog.
The staff were great and very dog friendly.
Reception, bar and dining area were nice.

Cons:

Rooms require a bit of an update and rooms didn’t have fridge

Pros:

Location, choosen as close to Yorkshite Sculpture Park.

Cons:

It was grim. Cannot believe it was a 3 star Best Westwern. It was worse than a 2 star travelodge. Needs a major refurb. Photos made it look alot nicer than it was. We were quite shocked how it looked.
