Very comfortable bed. Room clean and a reasonable size. Staff keep the place clean but it could do with a lick of paint. Shower pressure was OK but body wash dispenser in the shower was hopeless. Take your own soap. Breakfast was overall OK. Cooked breakfast was very good but fruit juices were awful and the tea was weak and a bit cold. Pastries were small and unappetising looking. Overall the accommodation is what I would expect from a 3* property and the price paid.
Tea and coffee at breakfast could be kept hotter. Day one it was brought fresh to the table which was great, Day Two it was kept in flasks and therefore only tepid.
The place could do with brightening up and some fresh paint as it's a bit grey and tired to look at.

Rural location near to lovely woodland walk around a lake. Good English breakfast.

Well located in quiet area near pubs, restaurants and the Dam. Good parking. Room was very clean. Mattress was fine, but we like a firmer mattress so not top marks. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Having access to bar was good.

The jacuzzi bath was tiny with the jets being too high and none on your legs
The shower came out with no real pressure to wash properly
The ceiling was so sloped that it made a lot of the room unusable
Great staff, comfortable bed, hot forceful shower, clean.
Ground floor room, needs refurbishment. Socket for kettle nowhere near a desk/table, hairdryer provided but no socket near a mirror...... just little things.
Management extremely helpful. Iron, Hair dryer and all basics provided. Yes it’s slightly outdated but makes no difference, loved the place. Old school hospitality

Dog poo sick stains wee stains just rubbed into the carpet’s walls at side of bed full of spilled drinks not even cleaned did not even stay the next day has me an my wife didn’t sleep been itching an scratching all night
I have loved all our stays before specially that room 211 has my dog and hat I had to pay extra for loved coming with us every time was going to complain at the desk but it was full and didn’t want to embarrass anyone just wanted to get home and take a bath
