Okay, if you’re staying a couple of nights, staff are very pleasant and very helpful

The bar and dining area was quite nice,

Cons:

The bedrooms are very basic, reminded me of what I think a luxury prison sale would look like, however the beds were really comfortable, the few on the website did not match the view from the windows, had a view showing a lake, my view was overgrown brambles

Lovely location,could do with some money spent on property

Everything was clean except the tables in the bar area

Cons:

Breakfast was poor not much choice a was luke warm, tea was anemic, tables in bar area were sticky had to pull the pint glass off with force

Very comfortable overnight stay.
Pros:

It was very handy for visiting South Yorkshire. Easy to find. Quiet. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Meals were good value. Breakfast was amazing! Lovely walk nearby at Newmillerdam Country Park.

Ideal location for visiting the sculpture park and the Hepworth museum.
Pros:

Clean comfortable accommodation in good location for visiting the sculpture park and Hepworth museum. Free parking and good value.

Cons:

It suited our purpose very well although we had to eat both nights in the same pub as the other one stopped serving at 7pm.
