To avoid disappointment, guests are strongly advised to pre-book tables in the restaurants. Please note that the Oak Room restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings.
Leisure center access is from 15:00 on day of arrival until 11:00 on day of departure.
When booking more than 4 rooms, different policies apply. Once 4 or more rooms are booked, they become non- refundable and a 25% deposit is taken at booking stage.

I have put a complaint in and requested a refund but noone has reached out to me
Staff was rude. Judgemental argumentative ans damn right arrogant i checked out at 9pm and drove in the dark and rain 2 hours to get back home
The twin room beds were a great size, bigger than expected.
Some of the food was a little pricey.
Rude horrible terrible experience i want a refund of my 400 pounds
Lovely location, friendly staff good breakfast.
Apart from the Bar prices being on the high side. For example 1 Double Bacardi and coke and 1 Double Gin and tonic £27.50.
Also the lounge bar did not have enough seating, trying to find a table inside to eat was very difficult.
Although we appreciate the time of year it was just not enough room.
Our food was average.
We ate in the restaurant which was a lovely experience but the food wasn’t as good as I would expect from a 4 star hotel.
The prawn cocktail was really not good.

Good size room with view over car park. Clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and polite with cheerful demeanur.
Excellent choice of breakfasat both hot and cold. Had meals at night which were most enjoyable
Rained all day on arrival with the result that the ceiling leaked at 9pm. reported to reception who offered alternative but declined as hotel was packed with guests and a wedding party plus didn't wat to pack and unpack. No-one from hotel came to check on follwing day. That night more heavy rain happened and the ceiling was in worse state with constant dripping. Eventually a porter came with large towels to put below leak. All this was pointed out to reception on our departure but no offer of discount was offered for the inconvenience which was poor

Loved the location, very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent lots of choice. Used the gym, pool and sauna all very good. Staff were friendly. Wouldn't hesitate in coming back
It was a very nice hotel with lovely grounds.
Unfortunately we found the room wasn’t up to a standard of a 4 star hotel - the blinds were dirty with some questionable stains, there was a cracks in the bathroom, the sealant has come away from the bath, furniture was broken and there was holes in the ceiling, the room and bathroom was far to small.

Only one v minor caveat to an otherwise near perfect stay:
The outside tables are too close to residents’ rooms. There was an issue of noise from guests who were enjoying staying out late ( after dark) drinking in the garden. As there is plenty of space on the lower lawn it would seem sensible to move the outside seating down there to avoid inconveniencing other guests.

EV charging needs to improve
EE phone signal was garbage, nothing hotel can do but huge inconvenience especially when trying to book travel.
The spa is lovely & a really well equipped gym. All staff were very friendly. Food was delicious. Couldn’t fault the hotel
