Food was ok but the service from Georgia was great she made us feel welcome and part of the family went above and beyond without it being awkward
Property clean and quite location surrounded by green
A bit outdated building and expensive restaurant/bar
We attended the Greek night last Friday. Second one we have been to. Amazing freshly cooked Greek food and the restaurant looked very Greek with flags, Greek beer etc. We will definitely sign up for the next one.
Really enjoyed our time at the Hotel. The evening meal was one of the best meals I have had compared to most hotels i have stayed in. The breakfast was equally first class.
A big shout out to all the staff who were very polite and helpful. We will definitely return in the future.
Absolutely shocking. Dirty beds, dirty spa, awful staff, inedible food this list goes on and on! Avoid this hotel at all costs
Wow, what a fantastic experience we have just had at Moor Hall.
From the impressive drive up to this Spa hotel through the grounds we knew we were in for a treat.
The reception staff were so very welcoming with big smiles and friendly service, just what you want when you arrive after a long journey. Our Superior room was ready for us to start our weekend escape. The decor a mix of tradition with a twist of modern qualities was perfect for this period property.
We unpacked and straight off to enjoy the spa facilities we had booked in advance.
The pool, the steam room and sauna all part of the package were just perfect and so relaxing.
The real surprise of the weekend though was the quality of the food in the Oak Room coupled with fantastic table service. Just simply excellent all round.
Then the next gem was the following day at breakfast which was honestly perfect again coupled with faultless service.
Very well done Moor Hall team we will definitely return and recommend you without any hesitation.
Absolutely amazing no faults
Last Friday, was Greek Night in the Country Kitchen restaurant and we enjoyed a lovely evening and delicious meal with lots of choice. The staff were attentive and very helpful.
Lovely area and hotel is sat in a lovely place very clean and comfortable definitely stay again
No complaints had a happy stay
Big shout out to the lovely Rose who made me a beautiful Amereto Cocktail 🍹 she was lovely and a shout out to Leia
These young ladies made my night .
Thank you
Beautiful area, lovely building. Staff friendly and helpful in the main
For the price there could have been a mini fridge in the room. Room a little dated
I got a complimentary upgrade. The food and service was good. I liked the option to order room service breakfast as I was on my own. The staff accomodated my need for non-dairy milk and food.
I didn't see a thermostat to control the temperature in my room.
Excellent stay. Staff wonderful, food amazing and our waiting staff Nell, was absolutely superb. Good spa, lovely grounds. Took a star off because no walk in shower (it was over a bath and I find it difficult to get in and out) and the beds were too soft. Overall, would highly recommend.
Cleanliness of the facility and the overall atmosphere was exceptional.
Service in restaurant was extremely slow, was not that busy and the staff were busy chatting amongst themselves.
On our way from the North to Farnbrough stayed here for a Birthday treat. Had a small double which was ok, small, but good value for one night. Nice pool with steam room, sauna and jacuzzi to relax in. Delicious meal in the Brassiere, I had the Beef Wellington and enjoyed ever mouthful.
We visited the Country Kitchen with 4 friends for Sunday lunch.
What an improvement over last time we went. The reception and service was first class and the food was fantastic. There was a wide choice of both entrees and at the main buffet. The chef carving at the counter was friendly and professional. He catered well for my allergy and I felt confident.
The quality of the meats and vegetables was superb and the portions were large.
Having stopped going 12m ago, as we felt the quality had fallen, we will definitely be back now.
Well done to all staff
Sunday Lunch in the Country Kitchen is excellent. Good choice of starter, main carvery lunch and dessert. Polite and helpful service.
All at a reasonable price for an unhurried enjoyable experience.
What can I say I really wasnt sure what to expect, my partner and myself came for the valentines wkend, we are new to spas, but from the minute we walked in everything was perfect, the staff all of them are a credit to the hotel, the spa was lovely, the evening meal absolutely delicious, and the same for breakfast, thankyou to all the staff etc for a great wkend, we will definitely be returning.
Booked a Friday night dinner, b&b stay with Secret Escapes and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful, the room (159) was enormous with a lovely bathroom and a big double bed. Public spaces are beautiful and our diner in the Oak Room was very special (although we very easily went over the amount allowed for dinner). Breakfast was excellent too, although the coffee was a bit disappointing. Hotel was surprisingly quiet at night, considering how busy it was (lots of children) and we slept well. All in all, we were very impressed.
