Brilliant location, reasonably priced, large rooms with comfy beds, staff friendly and welcoming and a beautiful breakfast. The hotel throughout is very clean
Stayed here one night for a family wedding. Room was lovely, clean and modern bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and all staff were pleasant and helpful
The staff make The Lion
Amazing staff, very comfortable, they had the air con on for us during this heatwave which was much appreciated
Value for money and location
Asked for bed linen to be changed at 11am, told them we had left tag on door asking for room to be cleaned. came back at 4 and it was not done and told cleaners had gone home, they were told but was not done, receptionist said i will get you some clean linen but you will have to do it.

Very clean hotel. Comfortable bed. Food was lovely both evening meal and breakfast. Very nice staff in restaurant.
Nothing I didn't like to be honest
Family suite is great. Spacious, comfy, air con in all rooms was good. Icy cold in no time
Only thing I didn’t like was being charged a security bond of £25 on check in. Didn’t do that when I stayed a couple of years ago

THE ROOM WAS OK . BREAKFAST WAS OK. ONE OUT OF TWO EVENING MEALS WAS EXCELLANT, THE OTHER ONE WAS NOT VERY GOOD.
THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFULL.
ONE OF THE MEALS. THE CHIPS WERE LOVELY, BUT THE BURGERS WERE VERY VERY WELL DONE.

Room was spacious and well equipped, beds were comfy and everything was very clean.
Breakfast was amazing and location was ideal for us.
The lady at reception was lovely
The cleanliness was lacking massively. Dirty cups, spoons etc. there was also hair in the shower and a bathroom floor slat had come loose which I nearly slipped over on. Whoever was in the room next to me clearly had an argument with his front door as he kept slamming it incredibly hard which isn’t pleasant as you’re about to fall asleep. Unfortunately my room was by the car park and at around midnight there were several cars racing around.
Central location in Worksop, easy to get to where we needed to be
No baby change facilities in any of the ladies toilets, not always possible to go back to my room as we had other guests arriving who we not staying overnight
