room 55 was excellent with fantastic views a big bed and modern bathroom and comfortable arm chairs, the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean (well done housekeeping!). The lovely gentleman on reception (?Greek name beginning with E) was very welcoming.
Shower pressure was poor and there was no heating working in the room, bed wasn't the most comfortable but we only stayed for one night so all was ok
The area was lovely and the building and staff
Our view from our room was of a fence and got very little natural light and with only one main light in the room it was differcult to get ready, our shower also did not work in the morning after it did in the evning. Not a big problem but the mirror on the desk is quite high so as a 5 foot 4 person I could only see half of my face wich made getting ready hard
Room was very grand and a nice change from other budget options.staff very friendly
Bath/shower really could use a hand rails or grippy mat, feel a bit awkward getting in and out.
Didn't have a good experience at all
Everything the staff the rooms nothing is worst then this hotel travel lodge is much more better then this
I have mobility problems. First room offered very small, not much of a view plus three steps to access the ensuite bathroom.
Second room much better on ground floor but right next door to the bar and backstairs used by staff who chatted noisily outside our room in the corridor.
See the above comments.
Overall, poor rather dingy furnishings in need of a full revamp.
Limited food choices - chicken breast overcooked so I left most of it.
Reception staff not very helpful especially given my mobility issues with no chair to sit on whilst waiting in the queue to sign in. It could be a lovely hotel but badly needs a major refurbishment
Clean room
Great breakfast
Really enjoyed the evening meal and dessert
Friendly staff
Nothing
The fire in the bar area.
The lounge with lots of seating
The Staff
Lifts
Upgraded room was nice
The view
The food
The squeaky bathroom door in room 44.
Noise from others when coming back to the hotel early hours of the morning.
No conditioner in the bathroom.
The area is beautiful and the reception staff were nice.
The decor is tired. The room had no hot water in the second morning and when I called reception to ask about it got told to mention it when I left, but what is the use of that. The food is expensive and the menu is very dated. The food was hot but tasted like it had been microwaved. We complained about the lack of taste of our diet cokes but got told that is how they are supposed to taste. It felt like the staff couldn’t be bothered. The flooring on the second floor is very uneven and frankly dangerous I suffer with knee problems and nearly fell due to what is a very large dip in the floor just outside the lift. I will not be booking here again expensive for what it is
Room was good.
Breakfast was overpriced
A great no-frills hotel just a short bus ride into Bath. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the bed was comfortable, and everything was spotless. Perfect if you’re looking for somewhere clean and convenient without any unnecessary extras. Would happily stay again.
Clean and nice view
Wrong post code and location in Google Maps
Also no any light in entrance of the hotel
If you will be there at night
Definitely you will lost
