Please note that weddings and functions are held every weekend throughout the year.

Guests should kindly note that payment will be taken upon arrival.

If you are with us for multiple nights we would not usually service your room during your stay, however we can on request. Please let us know on check-in if you would like your room to be serviced during each day of your stay.

Please note: The guestrooms are located on three floors and a elevator/elevator offers access to the first two floors with stair access to all three. Due to the original architecture of our Georgian period property all floors have varying levels and do require some access via steps/stairs. Assistance is always readily available.

The hotel is a very popular venue for weddings and events over the weekends and occasional weekdays and has music until late that may affect some of our guest rooms.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
A deposit may be required at the property.

A Beautiful wedding
Pros:

We attended a wedding, perfect setting, and had a great time, I would recommend and go back again.

Cons:

The shower was a bit tricky. but once figured it out, it was fine. They don't have air con, but they do have a fan. With the extreme heat this week, it might have been a struggle. However, we actually went last weekend and managed with the fan. Great hotel.

Perfect for beautiful scenery, country walks and easy access into bath, unless there’s a heatwave!
Pros:

Loved location, beautiful scenery and building. Rooms clean and very spacious. Perfect location to get public transport into Bath city centre. Lots of pretty walks.

Cons:

We stayed on hottest few days of year so far, so having air con would have been ideal, but in saying this if we had stayed when the heat wasn’t so intense air con wouldn’t have been necessary.

Lovely weekend.
Pros:

Breakfast was good. So was the bar meal on our first night. Location is very pretty. There was a large wedding going on on Saturday night. On the third floor there was no noise at all.

Cons:

The hotel is a bit tired. Very creaky stairs and a bit tatty in places. It is very old so don't expect modern! Fan in room as very inefficient.

Comfortable stay, lovely views, limited food options.
Pros:

Room has a lovely view over the hills, was comfortable, warm (fan provided but not needed) with a good supply of coffee making components. The gentleman on reception is very welcoming - making you feel at home on arrival.

Cons:

Breakfast selection is quite limited. I'd stayed here before, so brought my own evening meal with me as options aren't the best.
