The location is stunning and the views from the lounges, restaurant and most bedrooms over to the Mull of Kintyre are amazing.
The rooms were very hot and it was difficult to sleep but it was exceptionally hot weather.
Was also disappointed that if I had booked the hotel direct it would have included breakfast but with Booking.com it didn’t.
All round brilliant stay….friendly knowledgeable staff, excellent location, relaxed atmosphere! The otter in the river next to the car park, plus the weather was an added bonus! Thank you all!
Room was a little hot… but hey ho, it was an exceptionally hot period. A fan in the room would have made it a little less uncomfortable! Maybe they are available on request, but didn’t detract from an all round brilliant stay

Stunning views
Everything was good the bed was comfy, the bathroom was great, the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent
The only thing was the tv was rather tiny and old
The location is amazing the dining room is outstanding however the breakfast was luke warm as it was kept warm by electric heater lights
There was also no vegetarian sausages or bacon for us veggies which I thought was quite strange for a hotel of that scale
The food defiantly needs to be hotter and there should be a choice for vegetarians

The hotel was absolutely spotless. I had a single room and expected a small shower but was pleasantly surprised by a lovely bathroom with full-size bath and shower. I was very impressed. We had dinner and breakfast and both were excellent. The staff were lovely and very helpful.
The only minus point was the night we used the sauna. The changing room was way too hot. It’s a common problem with changing rooms all over.

The position is next to a golf course two small shops and a car garage. Long beach walks. Quite , its position is in a cul-de-sac,

Good, clean comfortable room with a Seaview.
The shower room was very small and tight. Door was nearly hitting the wash-hand basin . The shower however was a good size.
