Pros:

Staff very friendly and the parking was good, food good

Cons:

Carpet needed replacing in the bedroom and the back entrance to the hotel needs some work to improve it

Disappointing stat at the Red Lion
Pros:

Friendly young staff

Cons:

The bedroom was very cold. The radiator didn't work. The room was on 3rd floor with no lift . I had to go down to reception to get help: Blankets then provided,and a heater brought up to room.

Perfect overnight stop just off M6.
Pros:

Everything. Location on historic square, next to shops restaurants pubs etc but very quiet at night.
Staff brilliant.
Wonderful breakfast.
Very comfortable beds.
Hot hot shower.
Clean room with high quality linens

A lovely place to stay in Richmond
Pros:

It’s an interesting historic hotel right on the market square. The room (superior double) was beautifully renovated and very comfortable.

Cons:

The restaurant staff seemed slightly overwhelmed but they were very friendly and the food was very good so no major issues.
