Pros:

Lovely location and wonderful staff.
Breakfast good.
The bar next door is great.
What a view

Cons:

For the first time, a very uncomfortable bed.
The bar in the hotel isnt always staffed a night. I had to go looking for someone to serve us.

Pleasant, ideal location
Pros:

The location for why we were there was perfect.

Cons:

It’s very dated, rotten windowsills. Our room was pleasant but on closer inspection, needed a deep clean, dusty, cobwebs, shaving hair in bathroom sink and on floor. Shower doors did not close properly so lot of water on floor

Enjoyed the hotel and the friendly staff, good value and worth the price.
Pros:

Good Breakfast, wide choice, did not have Dinner there. Our room was very clean, and room service was excellent. Location was very handy for bus route 36 and plenty of walking choices. Big car park.

Cons:

We were well satisfied but the window (room 202) once opened was almost impossible to close. Pushed at frame with 2 hardback books to close.

Pros:

It reminds me of hotels in bygone days…it’s lovely cosy and very relaxing….

Cons:

When the bar was open….the barman kept disappearing….having to go round to hotel reception and tell the receptionist to give the barman a shout..obvs doing another job also……
