Unhelpful receptionist very ignorant.lied about the manger contacting us to sort there booking issues

Cons:

Reception staff very ignorant and manager requested.
Was told they would call back but never did.
Don’t trust them they let you book and pay but if you haven’t brought the card with you they turn you away even though they have full pre authorisation.
This was paid by a company card and guaranteed.

The Staff were exceptional , They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay
Pros:

The room was spacious with everything in it to enjoy a weekend getaway, very clean with modern design.
At Breakfast you were spoilt for choice with everything fresh & cooked to order if you wanted that little extra.

Cons:

There was nothing you couldn’t of liked, Beautiful Hotel in a good location

We definitely made the best choice - very enjoyable.
Pros:

Swift check in, Great room "that was already warmed up" Comfortable bar -Tentative staff and our meal in the restaurant was better than expected. All in all the hotel was an excellent choice.

Lovely staff and a nice hotel I would stay again
Pros:

Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice however there was not a vegetarian option for cooked brakfast

The best hotel i have stayed in by far
Pros:

Absolutely every thing! From the moment i walked in, greeted by Jo (lovely lady) right thru to handy my keys in to Zoe (another lovely lady)
Our room was clean, spacious and smelt great.
We ate in Bartellas restaurant, the guys in there looked after us, were really attentive and the food (we had fish & chips) was first class! Thank you for having us Ivy Hill Hotel x

Cons:

The first night we stayed there was some function/event on which was quite loud and I couldn't get to sleep until midnight or after. We also asked for two beers at the bar for our room and was given three and they were opened before we realised so felt like it may have been a sales tactic or maybe just a genuine miscommunication.
