You can hear the sound of the beach waves from the first sight — at first, it felt a bit annoying, but it actually helped us sleep really well. It’s a natural white noise that made our stay even more relaxing.
The location is great: right on the beach. We got dinner served on the beach, which was fantastic. The rooms were large and comfortable with good A/C and fine beds. Personel went all the way to cater to our needs. We had a good time.
Although the building is from 2017 it already needs TLC and renovation. The new owner since 2025 is working very hard to move things forward. We wish him the best!
Unbelievable endless sandy beach, great sunny location, no crazy crowds. Restaurants and downtown Tangalle easy walking distance, Spacious room and great garden.
Could be done a few things on cleanliness and changing towels and bringing toilet paper regularly :) .
Helpful staff, great location
Out of my five trips to Sri Lanka, this is the first hotel that I do not recommend. A dubious hotel, it seems normal from the outside, but inside everything is falling apart, the photos here does not correspond to reality. There is a wedding hall that is not listed in the hotel description, and you can hear loud music all the time, so if you are looking for a quiet place to relax or work, don't count on it. The restaurant is not available during the wedding even during breakfast, you will be served outside where there is no AC or fan and flies comes. Wi-Fi is very weak and unavailable in the rooms, even mobile internet does not work well inside of the premises. Half of the facilities listed in the room description are not actually available, just like the rooms are said to have a sea view but are not. There is direct access to the beach from the hotel, but there are no sunbeds, which is very strange and not convenient for hotel which situated on the first line. During my stay there seemed to be no one else there, I was surprised, but then it became clear to me why.
