Brilliant stay very comfortable and staff are lovely .
Pros:

In the centre and always a lovely stay .Love the renovations they are gorgeous . The cooked breakfast was amazing too.

Cons:

Wanted a decaf coffee was told it’s not on the breakfast menu .The waitress did come back to offer an instant coffee .Would be nice if a decaf coffee was offered in the breakfast menu.

We enjoyed our stay in Penrith
Pros:

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times and is an ideal situation. The staff are very welcoming and bedroom very comfortable and clean

Cons:

The hotel has been refurbished since our last visit it literally as it states use to be a hotel and BAR, on our recent visit we came down from our room to have a drink in the bar, we were served with our drinks but then could not be seated as all the tables were reserved which I found very unacceptable and told we could take our drinks into the hotel reception area. Surely if you are staying at the hotel some of the tables should be available for residents staying there. It was more of a restaurant setting and not a bar as it previously was.

Absolutely fantastic stay.
Beautiful (upgraded...thank you!) room with Beautiful decor.
Super friendly staff who couldn't do enough and who clearly enjoyed being part of the team there.
And to top it off, an absolutely delicious breakfast.

One night stay at the lounge hotel.
Pros:

Had a warm welcome at reception. Young lady was very helpful and informative. We had a free upgrade to a very nice and spacious room. Evening meal and breakfast were both very good.

Cons:

Room didn't have much of a view. Quite a lot of stairs and corridors to reach the room but that was a small price to pay for a delightful room.

The staff was Amazing and the hotel room was perfect king size bed was so comfortable would highly recommend staying we will again 100% food/drinks was reasonable and very nice

Overall it was a great stay apart from a couple of things. I think the should let you know if your in the attic room

The layout downstairs. The bar and the terrace looked nice although wasn’t set up because of time of year

We were in a attic room with a skylight I prefer a view
There was a glass water bottle and glasses but the water bottle wasn’t filled

Stayed here before and had no issues. This time round the room didn’t live up to the standard from before.
Pros:

Perfect location within the town. Food was delicious.

Cons:

The sinks hot tap did not work. The WiFi signal was poor in the room I was in.

Staff were friendly and very helpful from the minute we got there the room was nice size and the bed was comfortable the food was very nice and the breakfast was good our compliment to the chef we would definitely stay again 😋

Pros:

Smooth checkin, great 3 bed flat , right in the city center, lovely staff. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Cons:

We’ve ordered Cumbrian breakfast which unfortunately was not what we’ve expected. The waiting for the food was long and when it arrived, the quality of it was quite poor. I would recommended to have breakfast somewhere else.
