Le Grand Hôtel

Such a pleasant change from motels. Old style but renvated with all modern features you need. Our room was huge with classic wood panel and a cozy but comfortable bathroom. Both fridge and microwave plus coffee maker. Friendly and helpful and fully bilingual front desk staff. Quick checkin and out. Great restaurant on site. I would not consider any other place to stay in Baie Comeau, and all at a very reasonable price.

I liked the old style of the building. Though our room was in a renovated wing with new laminate flooring and bright white paint which felt at odds with the style of the original hotel. It was clean , staff were friendly, and beds comfortable.

The rooms was quite spacious, having two separate rooms for the two beds was kinda fun! Although having the bathroom being only near one bed is a bit annoying for the other people we were with, but other than that the beds were very comfortable, the comforter was actually fluffy, and not just a sheet of paper, and the pillows were soft and cozy. The ambiance was so nice, and I loved the bricks in the rooms, such a different and cozy vibes. I don't go in that area often, but now I want to just so I can go to this hotel again. The price was extremely reasonable for what you get. I definitely recommend this place for a nice quick stay or a longer one!

Our second visit to the Grand, the place is ok a little old and the bathrooms are very small but the bar and restaurant are very convenient which is more our priority.
Comfortable beds, clean rooms.

We loved the building itself and easy parking behind. It was quiet and clean and enjoyed that it was on the Main Street.

Not much parking .. had go across road to parking location almost 1/4 km away

To start off the room that I paid 176 taxes and fees were included the room was in the basement in a 150 year old hotel even though it was renovated there was a window of about 2 feet by 2 feet wide to add to that my wife is claustrophobic and they offered me a room at 227 dollars which I had no choice to accept .nowhere in the add that I viewed the room was there a mention that the room was in the basement I wouldn’t have rented there so please consider on giving me a refund of the difference that I paid extra please contact me in the next 3 days so I can get some justification for what happened thank you my phone number is 514 927 5687

Hotel ok mais un peu désuet. Service un peu douteux à la réception. La chambre aurait pu être belle mais l'équipement était en mauvais état (miroir brisé, fenetre brisée, air climatisé qui coule).

What I didn’t appreciate is the extra 103$ fee

Le prix indiqué sur expedia n'était pas le même que celui chargé à l'hotel. Ils ont ajouté un montant de 60$ en plus du prix affiché sur expedia apres taxes et services. Je trouve que c'est du vol.

It's so cute. The rooms are smaller vut very comfortable. You have everything you need. Very quaint!

This properry is lovely. The rooms are huge and seems newly renovated. I was on the lowest level in the 100s. The restaurant looked beautiful but we didnt eat there. The ownly downfall is parking is limited at the hotel. We lucked out with a spot right at our entrance but if not then we would have had to park somewhere near by not at the hotel

Pas d'ascenseur, la chambre sentait le renfermé et il faisait chaud. Le resto est assez dispendieux. Stationnement limité.

Il n'y a pas de stationnement à l'hôtel, on vous envoie dans un stationnement public qui était bondé lors de nôtre arrivé dû à un festival.

La chambre était très spacieuse et confortable

La chambre était grande avec deux fenêtres qui donnaient sur la rue animée. Grande salle de bain et un bureau. Nous avons pu mettre nos vélo en sécurité à l'intérieur.
