Tor Na Coille Hotel & Restaurant

The staff is very friendly, decor was welcoming and the food at the restaurant was great. We had the best old fashioned we highly recommend it.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location, nestled in its own tree filled garden, was relaxing and the hotel itself still retained the charm of the family home it was. We ate in the restaurant: the food was excellent, plenty of choice for two vegetarians like us, and the staff were very helpful. We also tried some cocktails which were also excellent. Our stay was relaxing, enjoyable and good value for money.

Hotel was nice, and staff very helpful but our room was far too hot. Bar service was slow on the first evening due to lack of staff. Food in the restaurant was excellent.

Clean comfortable stay, beautiful grounds and gardens, common areas beautifully furnished, rooms are smallish but comfortable, rooms and ensuites not as modern as common areas. I would stay again

Friendly, helpful staff. Room upgrade freely given when the first room was unsuitable due to lack of ventilation on sunny day. Breakfast was mostly good but could be a little disorganised (juice and milk running out, tables not fully laid etc.) and buffet was rather limited in range. However good choice of cooked items, well-presented.

The room we had was big, plenty storage and seating. The bathroom was nice with a large bath. The complimentary jar of sweets/choc was a nice touch. Staff were friendly and approachable. Bar staff very knowledgeable about the drinks on offer. Food was really good. Hotel had a very relaxed feeling about it, nice lounge area to air and enjoy drinks.

Extremely comfortable room. Spotlessly clean. Towels were great. Staff very polite and friendly.

Stayed here for a business trip. Fantastic hotel, it is absolutely beautiful and the area is just gorgeous.
I came in late and the staff were so welcoming and kind and let me get up to bed and settle up the next morning. I had the Eggs Benedict which was delicious and again all the staff were lovely.
The only reason for the 4*on facilities is the room I was in was slightly dated but the new owners are in the middle of renovations. However the room was clean and the bed was super comfy.
All in all great stay and would 10/10 recommend :)

Beautiful hotel our bedroom could be bigger but comfortable enough. Staff friendly and helpful. Everything spotless. Food nice and cooked well.

Friendly staff and owners throughout our stay. Room was very spacious and clean.

Lovely night away, room was on small side and was a bit tired but very clean. Nice toiletries and a jar of sweeties was a lovely touch on the tea tray. Comfortable bed and loved the lift, old fashioned but it worked, great to have in the Hotel. Breakfast was really good as was the lovely staff. Will go back.again as it has been decorated in most places and looks so lovely outside.

Everything met our expectations and all the staff were very professional and friendly.

The room was comfortable but carpet and furniture needed a good clean to remove dirty marks, the shower was over the bath and it was difficult to climb into and it was also very hard to control the temperature.

Lovely Victorian hotel recently refurbished but in keeping with the architecture. We were upgraded to a fabulous room. Excellent value for money. Food in restaurant very good
