Quick change of plans meant we stayed at Dalston Hall
Sadly the staff tried but were very inexperienced in all aspects of hotel management. So much that was wrong, were small details, but they all add up. On leaving a manager approached us for a review. I would suggest, for him, he should “manage” the hotel by being present to see what is needed and he could then direct his staff appropriately to improve the whole experience for his guests.
Amazing place! Staff was exceptional!
Spacious clean room, lovely power shower, gigantic bed. Breakfast was quality ingredients and great service.
All was fine
Very nice venue, caters a lot for weddings.
Venetian blinds let too much light in, bedroom was lit up all night.
Such attentive kindness from the staff
Lovely room with enormous and comfortable bed
Excellent food at dinner and breakfast
Nothing!
Very nice building
Great location and facility, dining room is strange as it is part of the wedding venue but the overall facilities are excellent and the staff cannot do enough to help you
Great to see Taylors Coffee bags in the complimentary room drinks
Instant coffee at breakfast..........
Lovely spacious room with comfortable large bed. Good location.
The staff were very helpful and respectful to deal wth. We were in room 9 and it was very good - great views, comfortable bed and quiet. The breakfast was good as well. Overall great value for money and we would book again.
Perhaps the hard standing in the grounds (which is presumably for a wedding marquee) and the 40ft container, could be screened off? They spoil the grounds which are otherwise very pleasant in which to stroll.
The history and the uniqueness
Nothing to dislike
Heel laat geboekt en daardoor veel korting gekregen, niet het meest belangrijk maar wel lekker
The building
Extremely slow service
45 mins for a starter
Limited staff seemed to be I'm the kitchen not in the restaurant area visible to customers
Lovely traditional Manor House.
Large ceramic bath in middle of floor difficult for older citizens. Bed very creaky but understandably in a traditional bedroom and house.
