High quality but very noisey. Would not stay in room 15 again
Pros:

Comfortable, high quality finish, nice breakfast, friendly staff, good car park

Cons:

Bar prices.
Kept awake until 11pm by creaking floorboards above room 15, then awoken at 5.30am by constant creaking floorboards from room above. Not a lot of sleep

Excellent facilities and a luxurious rest for us walking the Cumbria Way.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful- without being obtrusive
The room was extremely comfortable
The evening meal and breakfast were excellent. So nice to relax here after our day in torrential rain!

Like in a Jane Austen novel
Pros:

The hotel was beautiful in a lovely location. The food was fantastic and the service spectacular. Everyone made you feel at home yet it was still a luxury experience. Bravo to the staff and owners for putting such a great travel experience together.
