Location.
Guy on the phone changed my stay date when I needed it due to an emergency.
Sheets at least were clean.

Cons:

The room was filthy. Hairs and dirt on furniture, stains on carpet. I didn’t want to touch anything. I can’t photograph the smell, but it stank of sweaty socks and the smell didn’t dissipate. Bathroom wasn’t clean.
I didn’t see a staff member at all during my one night stay.

I was very surprised by this classy building! I loved everything about Dalziel Lodge, especially the amazing share kitchen & awesome outdoor area.
Lovely hot showers, nice warm room, comfortable bed, fantastic position for what I needed, which was to be close to the Mater hospital. Very close to the Metro & cafes, shops etc.
Will definitely be staying again.😃

Cons:

As for Dalziel Lodge itself....there is absolutely nothing at all to dislike!👍
The only thing that didnt impress me or another guest Id been talking to was about a couple of other particular lazy people that thought it seemed to be to much effort to actually clean up after themselves when they cooked, leaving a greasy mess on benches & the gorgeous big gas stove, & also leaving their pots & dishes unwashed....even though you're supposed to!

For the price, this was an excellent stay. I took the single room, which for me and my backpack fine. It wasn't the cleanest place, but I had no issues considering the price. The kitchen was great and loved the decor. Would definitely stay again

Cons:

If you're travelling solo with a big suitcase consider using the queen room instead.

AMAZING, CLEAN, COMFY BED, BEAUTIFUL BATHROOMS, KITCHEN, FREE BREAKFAST AND MEETING SOME FAB PEOPLE!
Pros:

Dalziel Lodge is a rare find and a true gem of North Sydney! Super clean, super comfortable, super close to all forms of public transport and the heart of North Sydney. We have relocated from NZ to Sydney, and this lodge was a special place to stay! Everything is immaculate and clean and tidy! Awesome kitchen to self cater in, AND the kitchen cupboards / frig are stocked to provide a free continental breakfast each day ... BONUS!
Thank you for having us stay with you until our permanent accommodation was ready to move in to. Amy and the staff are AMAZING!!! We will recommend Dalziel to our family and friends who come to visit!

There is nothing that we didn't like ... We would recommend this accommodation to everyone!!!
