Absolutely amazing!
Pros:

Wo soll ich anfangen?! Einfach alles! Die naturgelegene Lage, der wunderschöne Park des Grundstücks, das Gebäude selbst, die stilvolle und gemütliche Inneneinrichtung und das herzliche Personal. Das Essen war vorzüglich und auch die Spa Treatments sehr erholsam. Die kleine Aufmerksamkeit auf dem Bett, vor dem zu Bett gehen.

Cons:

Verbessserungsvorschlag auf sehr hohen Niveau: 2 der Damen im Service waren, vergleichsweise, nicht ganz so professionell gekleidet. Eine zu grosse Bluse, legère über der zu grossen schwarzen Hose und die andere Dame hatte unschöne Nägel, wo der Lack bereits abblätterte.

Amazing hotel and grounds
Pros:

The staff were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! So much effort and attention to detail is put into making this a wonderful hotel and restaurant. We visited for our anniversary and we couldn’t have picked a nicer place to stay :) The gardens were beautiful and the room and bathroom were perfect, this is absolutely worth it!

Cons:

I can’t fault Farlam Hall at all!

Would highly recommend. The food was out of this world.
Pros:

Lovely characterful property. A warm welcome from staff and the room was just what we needed. The dinner menu was delicious and we really enjoyed it.

Cons:

The only thing wrong was it was so hot.
Uncomfortably warm in the restaurant but luckily we could control the temperature in our room.

Go for the food!
Pros:

Quiet location, warm welcome, great team and good food from the tasting menu 👌🏻

Cons:

Not a particularly warm and cosy hotel, lots of beige spaces without much colour, lots of blank walls and sterile looking lounges - needs warming up!

Sadly didn't make the weekend for us
Pros:

Great dining in the Cedar restaurant. Rooms were nice and quiet. Good coffee bags in them.

Cons:

I took my Dad for his Birthday and he didn't get a card or a cake at dinner. We got it after we went to bed. Not the service I expected as a repeat visitor. Carpets in the dining room needed cleaning and I had to ask for our rooms to be cleaned at 3.30pm. My husband ordered a pot of coffee and was given tea. Sadly no further repeat business from us. Rooms are expensive compared to other Michelin starred places we have stayed in around the UK.

Would have liked a small refrigerator in the room to keep drinks cold.
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Nice selection of food available. Staff was efficient and pleasant.

Cons:

The room was large and beautiful but did not like climbing steps to the bathroom.

A perfect stay 👌
Pros:

We were met in the car park and immediately offered help. Our rooms were ready and provided exactly what we requested. The tour of the guest areas was a lovely welcome. The attention paid to my elderly father was appreciated.

Cons:

The weather! Our stay and meals were outstanding.

I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and will return but I shouldn’t be eating dinner however I would recommen

A beautiful country house hotel with some of the most pleasant staff I have encountered for a long time.

Cons:

Whilst the breakfast was excellent myself and some guest dined in the restaurant which is of a variation on Indian cooking. I did not know that the restaurant was fusion food which sometimes I enjoy, but in this case was not to my pallet I found the dishes forgettable and at times juvenile.
