Maya Phuket Airport Hotel

Great hotel and excellent location if you are flying in or out of the airport.

I like that there was one in the front desk most of the time to serve the guest.

The best part of this hotel is that you can literally walk to the airport. There is some great, really affordable dining options on the main drag and it’s only a 10 minute walk to Naiyang beach. Perfect for a place to stay before flying out or if you have a long layover.

The room was spacious and very open. Though we didn’t get a chance to use the pool, it looked beautiful and well maintained.

Breakfast wasn’t great at all, they have 4 items to order from off a “a la carte” menu and some cereal / yogurt as the “buffet”. They can definitely do better in this area of hospitality, especially considering how well known Thai hotels are for breakfast.

Access to pool was very difficult from the room and 2 plastic old chairs no table, our drain was blocked, our balcony door would not lock ground floor

The room ac unit was super loud and room was not really clean, mould everywhere, towels were black as.

I booked this hotel expecting a pleasant stay based on photos online from Expedia and also the direct hotel website.
Upon arrival this hotel appeared ok in the lobby. The pool area did not live up to the photo standards on the websites and appeared dirty with lots of leaves and general muck in the water, but I proceeded to my room and tried to remain positive.
The hallway was the next red flag. It was dirty.
I entered our two rooms. (Pool access) One smelled so strongly of mould it was unbearable to be in the room. It was not clean and looked nothing like the photos I had seen online. I am currently pregnant and this was something totally unacceptable for me to be staying in. I also had my 3 year old with me and I was concerned about her being in the dirty pool and the dirty bathroom of the hotel. In the other room I booked there was a filthy towel on the suitcase space that did not belong to us. The toilet and shower looked like they had just been used and were not clean. After 20 minutes we left this property. I was very clear about why we left and that the hotel was not up to standard. We were not supplied a refund on this hotel. I booked a non refundable booking and after Expedia contacted the hotel for a refund as we did not stay and did not receive the service they had advertised (modern clean rooms and a clean spacious pool area) the hotel refused to refund our stay. I find this incredibly dissatisfying and I am very disappointed.

amazing hotel to stay if you wonna get to the airport if you have an early flight.

Only provided 2 pillows 1 each person, tried to run a bath but the water was yellow. Not worth the amount of money you pay!

Convenient location near the airport for a quick stay. Breakfast was reasonable. Hotel fairly modern with a large swimming pool

The service was terrible. When I arrived, the receptionist was on the phone, whilst she saw me standing in front of her, she did not intend to end her conversation and let me wait until she finished the call. She did not even bother to extend an apology for my wait. After she charged my card, she did not even provide a receipt until I asked; she said if you'd like to have it now, you need to wait. No apology again.
The room conditions were terrible. Not only were the damages observed on the furniture, but stains and debris were also seen everywhere.
The drainage of the shower was a serious issue. After a shower, the entire washroom was filled up with water. That's also the reason mould grows in every corner of the washroom.

Dirty. no lie, there is what I assume vomit in the kettle which has turned furry. Old vomit, and an small plastic bag (drug bag?)on the balcony. Toilet wouldn't flush every time, had to fill the bin with water and pour into the loo. Very dirty tiled floor, dusty mirrors, stained bedding and the white towels were grey. Didn't smell great either.

Very quick and easy from Phuket airport. 5 minute walk. The staff were kind and the room was awesome and opened straight into the pool.

Not the cleanest hotel. Staff didn’t talk or say hello. Uncomfortable bed.

I would not recommend this property to anyone. It was dirty and I saw a roach the surrounding area is run down. The food in the area is only street food no international food other than the airport. If you want any other food you will have to get transportation to that area.
