Cons:

I ordered ballots for surprise birthday, when we got into the room the balloons were not there. Then we got a knock to say we had to leave the room for maintenance ( so they could do the balloons ) got to reception to wait for this but the people were stood
In reception with the balloons so my partner saw them anyways. Ruined the surprise.

Then we got room service for breakfast. Poured the milk on our cereal and it tasted funny checked and the milk was 2 days out of date.

Great stay - not sure it was worth the price for one night.
Pros:

Location was really close to the town of Windermere, room was really clean and nicely decorated, staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Hot tub could have been uncover especially during the colder seasons, wifi was quite slow in the cabin but not that big of an issue.

The location was lovely

Cons:

The room was dirty and smelt of body sweat , the carpets were very dirty and stained, rubbish was left in and around the room from previous occupants. Encountered a very rude member of staff when I complained about the breakfast being cold burned and wrong items.
