Great hotel, location is amazing, with the rooms and dining area facing the straits. Easy access by bus into town, also there are a couple of museums nearby.
Breakfast is substantial, and the menu for the restaurant is varied and food very tasty. The standout for us was the staff. They were always friendly, welcoming and obliging.

Updated rooms were clean and modern. Great view and location and love having on site laundry. The free breakfasts had good options and were tasty
Rooms were very pricey, vending machines were gone and the restaurant was insanely expensive, pool was still closed, and elevator doesn't reach every floor so very challenging if you happen to have a very heavy suitcase
Good looking out to the sea and swimming pool was a good length
The heating was to much,not complaining about it as we turned ours off.

Wij keken uit op het water. Dus dat was erg leuk.

Maar verder was het er prima.
Locatie
Boeking van een half jaar in tevoren werd dag voor aankomst geannuleerd met redenen dat we te grote ruimte voor 2 personen geboekt hadden (kamerkeuze vinden wij echt wel keuze van gast en niet van hotel).
Ons vermoeden waarom onze kamer ineens geannuleerd werd: er vond in de geboekte tijd een event in Campbell River plaats en wij vermoeden dat het hotel de geboekte ruimte aan iemand anders wilde geven.
The room was clean, comfortable, and fragrance free (as requested). I liked that it had a microwave, the heat could be controlled in the room, and the view from the balcony was great.

Renovated rooms, comfortable with fridge and microwave! Loved the balcony and the sliding door to listen to the waves! Staff were very friendly and helpful! Restaurants, famous bakery and stores are walking distance but be prepared for the hill. Hospital is also walking distance!
Very minimal: I like a cold room and AC was hard to get, it was intermittent for short periods of time (probably because it was cold outside). No big deal!

Location was terrific. Food in the restaurant was yummy. Service was great. Bed was comfortable.

Elevator was out of service and we had to climb stairs every time with luggage and baby
Breakfast was good for an included breakfast.
Staff was helpful and kind.
Toilet seat wasn’t cleaned. Son lifted when we arrived for use and lots of small hairs all over.
