Plan on bringing everything needed to use a kitchen if you book this hotel, notwithstanding their website representation of providing a studio kitchen. Absolutely nothing to facilitate the use of the kitchenette was provided or available after requested at the front desk.
And, checking with the front desk, they confirmed that this was their intention.
Joy, the front desk attendant, was particularly nasty to me upon check in.
She said she needed the extraordinary length of time she took to read my credit card front and back multiple times and compare it multiple times with the computer screen "in case you decide to damage my room". Her behavior continued unabated during my subsequent discussion with her regarding the lack of any kitchen utensils.
In sum, I wish that I had not booked this hotel.
Great stay! Nice, clean hotel. Comfortable bed. Decor colors make it look dated, so photos on past reviews discouraging. Our King bed suite had a refrigerator stove, and microwave. Friendly staff waffle breakfast. My favorite Farmers Coffee. Definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.
I had stayed at this hotel before and after checking out was sent an email for a review which I did, my review was not positive based on booking the room for the full kitchen that doesn't even have one fork or a single coffee cup, not a single pan, bowl, plate or anything to use in the full kitchen which again was booked for the purpose of it being a "full kitchen" to cook in during my stay, I guess they think travelers should pack their own utensils and cookware.
I also noted that the room door doesn't go all the way to the floor and the noise from the hallways was very loud, the bathroom was not cleaned properly, the breakfast provided was horrible and not edible unless you were accustomed to eating stale junk food in a wrapper.
Anyway flash forward to coming to El Dorado again, I tried to book at the nicer IHG hotel next door but it was booked up so I made another reservation at this hotel and when I arrived the manager's wife looked my reservation up and rudely commented some undistinguishable gibberish then left the desk area and came back with the manger as apparently the entire family lives on site in the hotel, the manager then asked my name and also asked if I had left a bad review for them for my prior stay at their hotel which I acknowledged I had in deed done, they then said I was banned from the hotel and was denied my check in because I had left them a bad review for my prior stay.............
So instead of using the review system as feedback to improve their hotel they simply ignored their faults and just denied my reservation, I have this interaction on video so don't even try to deny this or I will post the video here.............I then left and booked a room with a reputable hotel a few minutes down the road.
Somehow they keep getting my review taken down, the dates of my stay was in 2024 but people need to know this place is very fishy and there are much better and actual Hotels to stay at than this place.
Lage .nah zum College
Frühstück war nicht gut.Zimmer und Austattung nicht aktueller Standart
We enjoyed our stay very much, very comfortable, clean and nice employees. I would say that breakfast could include eggs. We will always stay here when in town.
Breakfast. The only thing I didn't like.
It was clean.
I chose to stay at this Days Inn based on positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
I had booked the room through Booking.com while on the road. In the rush, I mistakenly selected "2 adults" instead of including my 2 children in the occupancy, though I booked a room with 2 queen beds, which clearly accommodates four people. When I arrived after 10 PM, the front desk staff was not welcoming, no smile, no pleasantries, she seemed bothered that I wanted to check in. She asked, “Two adults?” The kids were in the car, but I immediately corrected her and realized m omission. She instantly became combative and accused me of lying and trying to cheat the hotel out of money. I calmly apologized for the oversight and asked how to correct it. I even checked the app and confirmed the price didn’t change when updating the occupancy—but she insisted that was wrong and chastised me for "lying," repeatedly saying I had to pay per person because it’s "more work for housekeeping."
I tried to de-escalate and even apologized, again, thinking maybe she was just having a bad day, to which she snapped, "I wasn’t until you lied." I was shocked at how personally she took what was an honest mistake despite my willingness to correct it.
She brought up an issue about emergencies—saying in a disaster, they wouldn’t know to look for four people. I agreed that’s valid and asked to update the record. She didn’t seem to know how at first, then eventually updated it, yet still claimed it was “a problem” because it wasn’t “written on the sheet,” so I wrote it down, but she continued criticizing me.
If I were trying to deceive anyone, I wouldn’t have openly told her about the kids. I genuinely felt like I was being profiled and treated with suspicion since she seemed to have an issue with me from the start. She refused to give me her name or the manager’s contact information, and only referred to me as “lady” throughout.

I genuinely felt like I was being profiled and treated with suspicion since she seemed to have an issue with me from the start. She refused to give me her name or the manager’s contact information, and only referred to me as “lady” throughout. It was incredibly uncomfortable and upsetting—it was 10 minutes of her treating me with utter disdain.
I tried to cancel through Booking.com, but they said it would require the hotel’s cooperation, and since she was the only staff on-site, I didn’t feel safe pushing further. We ended up staying, but I didn’t get much rest because I was so hurt and confused.
I followed up with the morning manager, Purva, who was initially vague about her role but later revealed she and her husband were the new owner-managers. When I raised concerns about how I was treated during check-in, she reiterated the policy with regard to needing an accurate count for the room—which I agreed with and never disputed—but she failed to address the disrespect I experienced. She even told me that the staff member had been there several years and “she was just particular” about things which seemed like her excusing this unacceptable behavior. The staff member involved was openly rude, again, this time in front of the manager, refused to apologize, and even brought in three housekeeping staff in what felt like an attempt to intimidate me. While the manager eventually refunded my stay, the resolution felt like an afterthought. Basic improvements like staff name tags, a visible manager contact, and clear expectations for respectful guest treatment are urgently needed. The hotel was exceptionally clean, convenient, and updated, but the unnamed woman (probably in her 60s, permed/wavy platinum blond hair and bangs with blue eyes and glasses) who was so incredibly hateful make it not worthwhile. Also, there were no secondary locks on our door which was odd.
As someone who goes out of their way to be honest and follow the rules, this experience felt humiliating, unfair, and unwelcoming. I cannot recommend this hotel, and I will not be returning.
Good appearance. Well taken care of.
Pillows were hard, bathroom was not clean...overall very disappointing. Staff was friendly, but room didnt live up to expectations.
Very pleasant stop on road trip. Clean, quiet and well-maintained. Super friendly staff!
We will make this our go to stay in future.
The staff was pretty friendly and the room was excellent for the price.
I took a yogurt for breakfast.
