Rahul at the reception was brilliant and courteous
The staff were very friendly and efficient. The room spacious with a good view over the swimming pool. When we had problems with the internet staff were there within 5 minutes to set up a router in our room to resolve that. Similarly when the desk chair proved faulty it was replaced quickly. The Breakfast was varied and very tasty. The location was within walking distance (about 2-3 kms) of Old Goa sites, which made for a pleasant day wandering around there.
The location is by a rather unappealing busy road. There are only a couple of fast food shops and one restaurant in the vicinity for meals (apart from the hotel restaurant, which is fine). So the location has no 'ambience'. But we felt that was compensated for by its proximity to Old Goa.
