Twin Lotus Hotel

The Twin Lotus is a large hotel catering to conferences and weddings. It is located very far from the central part of town so inconvenient if you want to explore Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Given it is such a large hotel, I was surprised by the quality of the food which we had for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The quality was very mixed, the dishes were mediocre and most surprising was that the local Thai dishes were terrible and served usually lukewarm during the buffets.

The service and staff were very bad, untrained for a hotel of this class and for this price. We had to repeatedly call for basic wait service at the restaurant and bar area. Keep in mind that the majority of staff do not speak English so you should be prepared to use a translation app to communicate.

This hotel is quite big but a little bit old. Breakfast buffet was great. Receptionists did not speak English well. I used google translation. Across the street, there is a Wal Mart type big shopping mall, Lotus's where I bought instant noodle and face patch. The hotel provided shuttle service to local airport.

Friendly tip to all the people

I was ripped off at this place. Overcharged, the swimming pool pump is so noisy impossible to stay by the pool. The shower in my room was constantly dripping. I made staff aware but nothing was done. This is a two star hotel at best. Would NOT recommend!

The hotel is dirty- fingerprints and grime all over light switches, elevator buttons etc. Breakfast buffet is fine.

Luxury

A very well-kept and clean hotel in the slightly higher price category. It is worth the price. With a wide range of options (swimming pool for cooling off, fitness room with a wide range of equipment, massages, beer and wine bar). It is just a shame that the self-imposed environmental goal was not achieved: the towels were changed every day, even though I had not put them on the floor. They could take the guest more seriously when he wants to use his towels for several days. Everything else was excellent!

I like the room is comfortable clean and quiet. Staffs are friendly .

Hotel ist OK. Einfache Saubere Zimmer. Frühstück ist soso lala. Dem Preis entsprechend aber insgesamt gut.

Very large hotel in need of some upkeep, but room was comfortable and had character. Food is good. Reception staff were slow and unhurried even when a lineup started to form. Bar and restaurant staff were obliging but no pleasantries from reception-rather a shock after wonderful service everywhere else in Thailand. The pool pump system was soooo noisy we left the pool. Price is good. Potentially a beautiful hotel but needs some spit and polish.
