Best place to stay in thamel for business/recreation/pleasure
Pros:

Staffs were super friendly. Made me feel welcomed.
Breakfast was top notch. Multiple varieties, different every morning. Rooms neat and clean with asthetically sound decorations. Highly recommend for anyone without second thought.

Outstanding stay – so good I came back again
Kasthumdinap Boutique Hostel was an absolute highlight of my time in Kathmandu. The hospitality here is truly exceptional, and a huge part of that is thanks to the manager, Pravin Shah, who went out of his way to make my stay wonderful from the very beginning.
I arrived on a very early flight, exhausted, and Pravin kindly arranged an early check-in, which made such a difference. Throughout my stay he was consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful, always checking in to make sure everything was going well. I was also surprised with an impromptu room upgrade, which was incredibly generous and so appreciated.
The location is perfect — right in Thamel, close to everything and very accessible, but without the constant noise and chaos. It felt like a calm retreat while still being right in the heart of things.
Breakfast was another highlight: a really good spread, with plenty of choice and a great way to start the day.
I enjoyed my stay so much that I came back again, which I think says it all. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kasthumdinap Boutique Hostel to anyone visiting Kathmandu — warm, welcoming, comfortable, and run by people who truly care.

Amazing 👏 Stay
Pros:

Location perfect in the heart of thamel but no noise at all . Breakfast was fabulous 👌 staff really friendly &helpful. Amazing part was they got this small rooftop bar to chillout really looking forward to stay another time as well .
