Hotel Grasia Semarang

It’s our first time travel to Semarang.
From check-in till check-out everything was perfect!services, food, room,Mr Faiq the General Manager and his staff was super kind and helpful....
you name it its all worth it.
Everyone and everything in Gracia made our stay perfect and we could not think of any better place to spend our leisure time. My husband and I would have come back here every now and then with our beloved fam :) can't wait to plan our next visit soon.

The service is great, staffs are polite and responsive, breakfast is nice. However bed is uncomfortable, the mattress is simply too hard , I and my partner are getting backache after sleep on it for a night.

This is an older hotel in Semarang, outside of the hustle and bustle of the Semarang City central business district area. I am staying here for 2 nights for a conference, and while this has a lot of capacity for hosting multiple small events or a large gathering, I was very disappointed in the state of the guest room and in the bugs that were in the room especially. The meeting room furniture was also very old, stained, unclean. Not impressed

I chose this hotel because of the 3,5 stars, the WiFi in the room and the fridge in the room.
In my room, I could barely receive a signal. The best signal I got was one bar and it was more off than on. Because I needed WiFi for my work, it was really important to me to get a good WiFi signal. The man at the reception told me a maintenance worker would fix it for me, however even after fixing there was no change in signal.
In my room there was no fridge. When I asked where the fridge was, they first told me that I had booked a room without a fridge. I made sure I did book a room with a fridge. When I showed I did book the right room, suddenly none of the rooms had fridges in them...
However, the most awful thing of the whole experience, was the horrible fungus smell and sight in the bathroom. It was so awful, I didn't even dare to take a shower even though I really looked forward to it.
Because the black mold was all over the bathroom, and the smell was that intens, I decided it was too unhealthy for me to stay in that environment. I had never done that before, but I checked out the same night I checked in and booked another hotel.
I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel. This is NOT a 3,5 star hotel.

Stay 3 days at the hotel for our nephew's wedding in semarang. the location of the hotel is strategic but there is no gocery store around the hotel. The hotel facilities are outdated and the towels look dull but the bathtub is good for its price. The breakfast is quite good and varied. Islamic concept hotel helped us because the hotel has a small mosque that is clean for Friday prayers. For a hotel on its price there is a newer hotel around, but for us this hotel is a best choice because the location is near to the wedding hall. Thank you

I visited this hotel for a meeting, the meeting room and services were excellent, but the room needs improvements. The bed sheet, room, carpet, and wall look and smell old. The passage from the hotel to the meeting room behind the hotel is a bit unsafe; a walking bridge would be best.

the ac in my room was broken, didn't cool down but in my sister's room is fine. Don't know why i didn't ask for fixing it. Overall the hotel was okay, especially booking through expedia we can get almost half the price.

The location is good, nice room and food with halal concept. And the most important is they have a mosque that big enough and very clean.
They also give free shuttle from the airport.

Grasia Hotel Semarang is budget hotel with great location. The room size is enough for budget hotel with old fashion interior. The service need to be improved into higher level due to the maintenance is very poor. Breakfast is so so with limited variety of menu. The cleanliness back side of the hotel is not well maintain especially toilet too smelt and dirty at the meeting room and the foyer of the meeting room. The coffee break during the meeting also below standard of 3 star hotel. I do hope the product can be refurbish and touch up the service to make it more competitive in the market. Thanks for the hospitality during my stay from 13-16 Oct 2016.

booked one room for me & my wife, and two rooms for my in-laws, we chose this (old) hotel because it's quite nearby to my wife's graduation hall location. the rooms were quite clean, not bad for the price, but you could still get newer hotel with this price unless you got other considerations.

Spend our new year eve here. Here's what i found: carpet with iron shaped print, the room was large for the price, cant find Fox at cable TV, toilet was leaked and puddle near it, dull towel.
Beside that, it had bathtub (most hotels with that price use shower) so its nice for us.
And by the way the food is outstanding, we ordered fried rice at the midnight and it was awesome.

My family and I booked the hotel just two days before my arriving date. We booked 2 rooms. I was really impressed because they can fulfil my needs/room preference exactly like what I requested. The guy who welcomed us (was wearing a white shirt, sorry couldn't remember his name) was really helpful. Moreover, all the staffs were giving us a great hospitality during our entire stay. The rooms themselves are spacious and clean. The only thing I dislike was the lock on my room's window was broken, so I couldn't lock the window.

Good deal of price, clean and good location in the center of the city. The room is spacious but its a little bit noisy in the morning coming from surround neighborhood. Overall we are really satisfied with the hotel and definitely will com back again next time.

Me and and my collegue was having some working things to do in Semarang. Stayed for 2 nights at Grasia Hotel and had an amazing and blessfull moment. Every staff very curteous, giving salaam. A big mosque available onsite. Adhan ( call for pray ) heard inside the hotel, so it help us as a muslim to keep in touch with the deen. They have a good islamic book in every room which is very convenient.

Going to stay here again for sure for the next visit, insha allah :). Thanks Grasia !

Get in at late night or early morning, after 1am. We had missed the train and need to reschedule for tomorrow. Try to find good hotel with near access to station, just for relax and re-charge after long backpack trip. Even without booked, their ground staff very helpfull. Let us in and do some process for next day book. The hotel unexpected very good hospitality and place. Beside main road in Semarang plateau. Will get back to this hotel in the future if there is a chance..
