Endroit magnifique, vue superbe des chambres du bâtiment principal.
Beaucoup de charme.
Plage paradisiaque en contrebas.

Seul petit regret, que le resto sur la plage et coté piscine soient fermés.

Staff was very friendly and courteous and happily answered all questions.
I wanted to do a small hike on my first day and instead of trying to sell me one of their guided tours they suggested one I could do without a guide, a very nice change of pace compared to other place where profit drives everything.

I did use their guide for a cultural tour around Principe and it was quite good too, the only minor complaint was that the guide struggled a bit with English so information were partly in porteguese and it was difficult to ask follow-up questions.

Food was excellent and I had both lunch and dinner and was pleasantly surprised by each meal.
Breakfast is sparse with limited choices with some fruit, bread, cereal, eggs and sometimes bacon but that is to be expected when you are on a tiny, tiny island.

Since I prefer walking I didn't utilize their beach transport to Banana beach, but that is also a great service and excellent choice after a long day on the beach.

A vista da Roça é fenomenal. E o pôr do sol... fantástico.
As praias são paradisíacas.
E o hotel muito luxuoso, com traços coloniais.
A comida também é boa.
O aspeto menos positivo, foi nas restrições de comida. Foi questionado de facto, mas não foi tido em conta.

Gostámos muito da Roça. Confortável, muito bem preservado com um staff 5*. Se voltarmos a Príncipe é aqui que queremos voltar a ficar.

Great Place with all that Colonial vibes you can imagine. Stayed at the Manor house Preimier suite which was fantastic with bath tub an private pool with great view over the bay - can be highly recommend.

Great service, did an effort to serve Hot Choco and cake, which was awesome while relaxing in the tub.

The Roça also have an interesting and informative “museum” where you can learn more about the history of Príncipe.

Even the drive did an extra effort to stop and show me fresh Cocoa beans and tasting on the way from the airport.

It was very pleasant until the very end when my credit card information was stolen and used for an unauthorized purchase.

Magnífica estadia com serviço impecável

Já nos tinham dito que a Roça Belo Monte na ilha do Príncipe era um paraíso mas a verdade é que superou as nossas expectativas. Não só pelo luxo das instalações, que propiciam a quem ali fica uma viagem ao passado, com as comodidades do presente, e que nos marca para sempre. Mas também pelo ambiente familiar que é proporcionado pelas pessoas que lá trabalham. A recepção do Válter e do Helder, os passeios com o José Luís, o Joaquim e o Fernando, o Chá de "agulha de pobre" da Ana Cristina, o Carinho da Marilda, a atenção com o nosso quarto pela Dona Francisca e pela Cadi, o sorriso constante do Amílcar, os cocteis do Manuel, a "ginga" da Quelmira, a timidez do Tó. Em fim, uma experiência enriquecedora, que nos faz querer voltar. Agradecemos também à minha conterrânea Verónica e ao Miles pela atenção que teve na noite extra que ali tivemos.

Positiv: Shuttle zum Strand, freundliches Personal, gutes Essen.
Negativ: Zimmer samt Matratze und Kissen stinken unzumutbar nach altem Gemäuer, Stock und Schimmel. Pool unbenutzbar, weil total trüb.
Fazit: Preis absurd hoch, steht in keinem Verhältnis.
Tipp: Hazienda als Tagesausflug besichtigen lohnt, aber woanders wohnen.
Ich würde dort nie mehr übernachten wollen.

Lindo hotel que, na verdade, é uma antiga roça restaurada. Serviços excelentes e instalações excelentes. Chegamos ao Príncipe com um dia de atraso por causa de voo cancelado pela péssima STP Airways e o hotel se prontificou a compensar a diária perdida com uma diária adicional ao final da estadia, da qual não pudemos desfrutar porque não havia mais vagas no voo de retorno a São Tomé da péssima STP Airways. Altamente recomendável — o valor da diária é alto, mas vale cada centavo.

Friendly, helpful staff and good drivers. Walter and Karen greeted us on arrival and arranged memorable tours for us. They made our stay extra special. This is a beautiful island with many outdoor experiences to enjoy. The hotel is in a good location to take advantage of the outdoors. It has extensive grounds and is well maintained.

The hotel itself is beautifuly decorated and designed. Praia Banana is stunning and the hotel gardens and scenery is something to appreciate. However, this is where it stops and everything else dissapoints. I wouldn’t be writing this review, but management never responded to my email. The food needs some serious re-think. They charge £50 for lunch per person and then dare to serve ham&cheese toast and some wraps. The full board is supposed to include two guided excursions per day. In reality, they offer only one. On the first day even though you arrive around 11am (due to flights) you cannot do an excursion. You can only do an excursion they take you to even when you ask them in advance. In reality they do not have enough cars to take everyone where they want. And the same cars take people to/from the airport, so you cannot do anything in the morning until 11am! It is only upon us insisting that we were actually taken to another beach rather than Banana and on the last day. The staff don’t communicate with each other at all (our laundry wasn’t picked up for example). In addition the New Years gala which was charged extra was disappointement. We were told that there will be local band. Instead it was a DJ playing music.The food wasn’t great either (all the creamy cakes were all melted by the time they were served). It felt like a village hall fete. When we booked there was this or Bom Bom, but there is now more choice. We are coming back soon, but will give this place a miss.

The hotel is in a histocric site with one of the best views you can ever dream of. The staff is very nice and the food was delicious. I can't reccomment it enough! It's one of the best places where I've stayed!

Magnifique roça au milieu d'une plantation, vue sublime, chambres confortables, propres et élégantes, nombreuses activités (superbe plage à quelques minutes à pied, randonnées dans la forêt, plongée, et bien plus)... Un très bel hôtel mais le service et l'écoute des clients sont à améliorer grandement.
