In order to uphold safety and comfort of our guests during COVID-19, Heaven Restaurant & Boutique Hotel follows the Government of Rwanda Ministry of Health guidelines:

Terrible
Pros:

Lovely staff. But needs updating
Pros:

The staff are lovely and extremely helpful and friendly. I cannot fault the service from that perspective.
The restaurant is also very nice

Cons:

I used to stay in this hotel year ago and it was very nice. 7 years later it is badly in need of updating, the cheaper room I stayed in was quite run down especially in the bathroom.

Disappointed with the management of the hotel
Pros:

The staff were very friendly

Cons:

Had to leave hotel and walk up the road for breakfast, the bedroom we were given was very small and on the far corner of the hotel next to the busy main road even though the hotel was almost empty. The shower door fell off twice no word from the manager re this and the Fire Stick TV stopped working. Disappointing in the management.

Comfortable stay, lovely staff, but some problems with payment and check in
Pros:

The location is good, near nice restaurants and a short walk from Kigali’s centre. The rooms are comfortable, spread out over a couple of blocks around a small pool. The breakfast was ok in a restaurant a couple of minute’s walk up the hill. Staff are really friendly and helpful in both hotel and restaurant.

Cons:

We had some problems with the payment. The property asked for payment by bank transfer and then billed me for 3 nights instead of 2. (We stayed for two separate nights at the beginning/end of our short trip to Rwanda). When we arrived for the second night, my husband checked in and was told I hadn’t paid and had to pay by credit card. It took a while to sort this out and he is still waiting for the refund. I had very clear confirmation that I had paid for two separate nights, so this was disappointing. Staff were very pleasant in dealing with it but still quite annoying. Had we known we could pay by credit card on arrival would have done that.

Other than that, just some inexperience from check in staff. We arrived early and were told we could check in at 10am, but this proved to be a moving target as the time kept changing. Would rather be told that we couldn’t check in before 1pm at the outsetrather than come back and forth.

Mauvais rapport qualité / prix
Pros:

Le personnel (Nina, Chanceline, Justin,..) : charmant, disponible.
Le restaurant : petit déjeuner délicieux et repas au restaurant boutique et au fusion délicieux !

Cons:

Une foule de petits détails qui font un amalgame :
Photos pas conformes au bien louer sur booking, chambre extrêmement petite, pas vriament de terrasse, pommeau de douche qui ne tient pas, panier à linge pas rendu.
Pas grave en soi mais accumulation de détails de cet accabi.

A bit of Heaven in Kigali
Pros:

We found all the staff at Heaven Restaurant to be very friendly and professional. We had Mariam helping us for several mornings and she provided a cheerful start to the day. The food is good and the atmosphere is lovely.

It was magical and beautiful!
Pros:

The bed and pillows were so comfortable. I requested what brand they were. I found out that they were specifically for that hotel.
Even though I didn’t use the spa, it was beautiful and relaxing on the way to the gym. Good gym equipment and open 24/7. Nice little bar and restaurant. Good food and drinks. Would recommend this hotel 100%. Great location and very affordable.

Cons:

Restaurant said it was open until 11 pm on the hotel information but they turned people away at 10 pm. Breakfast buffet pricey. Would be nice to get something other than buffet.

Nice Accommodation in Kigali, Rwanda
Pros:

My adult children and o stayed at the Heaven Boutique on June 23. We booked two rooms, which were small, but very nice. The staff was helpful, and transported us to the Genocide Museum (which is close by) and to the airport the following morning. There is tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast is included at the restaurant a short walk up from the hotel, which served the best gluten free pancakes I have ever had. My daughter and daughter in law both felt the gluten free pancakes were better than the regular. This was a quick stop over on close to a three week adventure in Africa, snd the hotel met out needs well.
