In order to uphold safety and comfort of our guests during COVID-19, Heaven Restaurant & Boutique Hotel follows the Government of Rwanda Ministry of Health guidelines:
-Disinfecting all hotel rooms and leave rooms unoccupied for 3 days after departure for deep cleaning and disinfection between client stays.
-All rooms have opening windows or sliding doors allowing for fresh air circulation at all times.
-All staff live onsite and all have tested negative.
-The property takes temperatures and require handwashing on arrival for any walk-in restaurant guests.
-All restaurant tables socially distanced spaced 6.6 feet apart.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Friendly staff
The location is good, near nice restaurants and a short walk from Kigali’s centre. The rooms are comfortable, spread out over a couple of blocks around a small pool. The breakfast was ok in a restaurant a couple of minute’s walk up the hill. Staff are really friendly and helpful in both hotel and restaurant.
We had some problems with the payment. The property asked for payment by bank transfer and then billed me for 3 nights instead of 2. (We stayed for two separate nights at the beginning/end of our short trip to Rwanda). When we arrived for the second night, my husband checked in and was told I hadn’t paid and had to pay by credit card. It took a while to sort this out and he is still waiting for the refund. I had very clear confirmation that I had paid for two separate nights, so this was disappointing. Staff were very pleasant in dealing with it but still quite annoying. Had we known we could pay by credit card on arrival would have done that.
Other than that, just some inexperience from check in staff. We arrived early and were told we could check in at 10am, but this proved to be a moving target as the time kept changing. Would rather be told that we couldn’t check in before 1pm at the outsetrather than come back and forth.
The rooms are quite small and squeezed.no value for money.The staff are very friendly though

Une foule de petits détails qui font un amalgame :
Photos pas conformes au bien louer sur booking, chambre extrêmement petite, pas vriament de terrasse, pommeau de douche qui ne tient pas, panier à linge pas rendu.
Pas grave en soi mais accumulation de détails de cet accabi.

Disappointing room
We found all the staff at Heaven Restaurant to be very friendly and professional. We had Mariam helping us for several mornings and she provided a cheerful start to the day. The food is good and the atmosphere is lovely.
The bed and pillows were so comfortable. I requested what brand they were. I found out that they were specifically for that hotel.
Even though I didn’t use the spa, it was beautiful and relaxing on the way to the gym. Good gym equipment and open 24/7. Nice little bar and restaurant. Good food and drinks. Would recommend this hotel 100%. Great location and very affordable.
Restaurant said it was open until 11 pm on the hotel information but they turned people away at 10 pm. Breakfast buffet pricey. Would be nice to get something other than buffet.
My adult children and o stayed at the Heaven Boutique on June 23. We booked two rooms, which were small, but very nice. The staff was helpful, and transported us to the Genocide Museum (which is close by) and to the airport the following morning. There is tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast is included at the restaurant a short walk up from the hotel, which served the best gluten free pancakes I have ever had. My daughter and daughter in law both felt the gluten free pancakes were better than the regular. This was a quick stop over on close to a three week adventure in Africa, snd the hotel met out needs well.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel complex contains three restaurants which are excellent. I would highly recommend.
Gute Lage und schönes Restaurant mit super Frühstück!
I have had a lousy experience trying to get reimbursed for a reservation made in Jan. for this past month that I needed to cancel due to the US Dept of State's warning about Ebola. First of all they deducted the payment from my cc in March- why? At the time of my reservation there was no cancellation policy noted. Then my colleague and I had to rebook a few different times because out booking thru Bookings.com wasn't registering appropriately. We finally got that straightened out- we were able to cancel those bookings without a problem (nothing had been charged on those, just the earlier one). The hotel sent me to another organization to get repaid, and then that one sent me to another one. Still no satisfaction. I then contacted Bookings who wrote to them and asked them to reimburse me. Still no response. This has not been a Heavenly experience, more like hell to me/ I'm so disappointed in them and once Ebola lifts I'll remember how I was treated. Shabbily.
