In order to uphold safety and comfort of our guests during COVID-19, Heaven Restaurant & Boutique Hotel follows the Government of Rwanda Ministry of Health guidelines:
-Disinfecting all hotel rooms and leave rooms unoccupied for 3 days after departure for deep cleaning and disinfection between client stays.
-All rooms have opening windows or sliding doors allowing for fresh air circulation at all times.
-All staff live onsite and all have tested negative.
-The property takes temperatures and require handwashing on arrival for any walk-in restaurant guests.
-All restaurant tables socially distanced spaced 6.6 feet apart.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

I stayed at Heaven Boutique Hotel for more than one week. It’s near city center so it’s good area. Overall, it’s a pleasant boutique hotel with some nice touches, though there are a few areas that could be improved.
What I liked:
The breakfast buffet was good with plenty of options.
The rooms where clean.
I really appreciated the evening room service where every night they came to install the mosquito net and brought two biscuits for a bedtime snack. It was a thoughtful gesture.
I had some nice conversation with Justin. It’s really refreshing when travelling to have the point of few of the youth regarding the country visited. Thank you Justin 😊
Areas for improvement:
If you book the Village Queen budget room, be aware that it is quite small with limited space to move around.
Both rooms I stayed in were missing a full-length mirror.The WiFi was unstable throughout my stay. If you need a reliable connection, you have to rent a router for $30, which feels quite expensive.
I would still recommend the hotel for its friendly service and cozy atmosphere, but guests should know what to expect, especially if booking the more affordable rooms.
I had a phenomenal week staying at Heaven Boutique Hotel. The rooms are well-appointed and quiet and the grounds are beautiful. The location is also convenient--close to the Marriott and a number of restaurants. That said, I had many meals at the restaurant associated with the hotel--Heaven Restaurant--and remarked when I returned home that food in North America would never taste the same again after having eaten there. It was fresh, delicious, and different. In short, a wonderful experience that I hope to repeat.
It is a green oasis and calm in the centre of the city close to everything.
There is nothing I didn’t like about the property.
I was just passing through. Mine was a1 night stay. The room was clean and the staff was kind and helpful.
Poor quality fittings in the bathroom. Shower head was broken.
New section of the building was wonderful- the older portion was showing its age.
Honestly loved everything except the fact that you had to walk on the street to get to the restaurant- hopefully they will create a path.
The internet connection was not stable.

e stayed at the boutique hotel not the retreat but the hotel was supposed to be 4 star. It is not compared to other 4 star in Kigali and Rwanda. The only good thing is the French press coffee in the room. Our room was so small we can hardly open our luggage and the bathroom door (between armoire and bed), the basin faucet was loose and the shower floor was cracked. Mosquitos were abundant before the turndown service at 8pm. Restaurant was overpriced and included service charge for both drinks and meal. At breakfast, included in the room charge, staff presented a bill and said all was covered except tip. It was a buffet and I did not use the omelet station or request any service. I told the reception that they should not call this a 4 star and shared all the items above. Staff was pleasant but service was not exemplary as other 4 star in Kigali.
It's in a very green part of the city. Quite nice.
The facilities are old. Online pictures show a spacious room but in reality the room i was given was so tiny and outdated. The staff/establishment was inflexible to make any adjustments to change the room. They kept saying for a whole week that they were consulting with management. I soon realised that meant they had no intention to make any change. For the quality of facilities, the price is high.
Calm clean and quiet :) checked in late with no fuss. Breakfast was lovely. They were super flexible and let me leave my bad at the desk as I wasn’t leaving town until the afternoon. I look forward to being back!
I had a great experience. My King size room was beautiful and the outdoor space was great. I also loved both restaurants and all staff was very friendly
