Cosy quite and charming, the staff are helpful and friendly
The location was far from the center. Several things fell short of 5-star standards: we requested twin beds twice but got a double bed, the breakfast was below average, and the bed leather had many scratches. The staff were friendly but not very professional. They weighed our suitcase and said it was 10kg overweight, but it wasn’t when we checked at the airport.
Lissabon - Wunderschöne Symbiose aus Geschichte und Moderne. Dies ist auch in diesem besonderen Hotel spürbar.
Die Ausstattung und Einrichtung sehr sehr schön! Architektonisch schön gelöst und die Geschichte bewahrt. Sehr geschmackvoll! Unser Zimmer war ein Traum! (Princess Suite) super geräumig und mit riessiger Terrasse.
Restaurant wunderschön eingerichtet. Service und Essen war meistens gut.Frühstück lecker, es gibt ein überschaubares kleines Buffet, alles andere auf Bestellung. Der Spa Bereich grosszügig, riessiger Indoor-pool, auch hier architektonisch schön gelöst, allerdings war der Abwasser-Geruch sehr störend und wir haben es nicht lange ausgehalten.
Wir waren mit 2 Kindern unterwegs und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden ggf wieder dort buchen. Wir haben uns alle in diese wundervolle Stadt verliebt :-)
Die etwas ruhigere Lage vom Hotel, wollten nicht mitten in die Stadt, war für uns super und doch ist man relativ zentral. Flussläufig von einigen Sehenswürdigkeiten u.a. direkt am Torre de Belém, sowie einigen Museen.

The hotel is right in front of a main road and a main rail line. The hotel did NOT have sufficient soundproofing to block out the noise of the trains and traffic.
The hotel is 35 minutes by tram from the center of Lisbon which felt just a bit too far out.
