Will never stay again
Pros:

Room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Communal areas were unlit and not heated. Didn’t serve food and the bar was closed. It was like a ghost hotel. The reception wasn’t even staffed when checking out.
The £8 a night car parking charge is an insult. Apparently, it’s to pay for CCTV which wasn’t even completed when I stayed there. Basil Faulty would have been better than the owner/manager who tried to explain it to me.

Everytything was exceptional except that we could not have stayed longer.
Pros:

The breakfast was made to order. one simply fills in a sheet with everything they would like for breakfast and submit it the day before. The breakfasts and dinner were exceptional. I didn't expect dinner service to be available, but I got an email from the hotel asking if I would like to order dinner for the night of my arrival! I was sent the menu and has able to order prior to arrival and had dinner the evening we arrived.

Cons:

It would be nice to have a lift up to the 3rd floor as it was hard to carry the baggage up and down 3 flights of stairs.

Pros:

Staff very helpful and friendly. Room very clean and comfortable. We ate in the hotel and food was delicious. Perfect place to relax.

Cons:

Not really a dislike, but room was cold on arrival however turning up radiators sorted this.
