Staff were friendly and accommodating. Facilities were clean and available. Rooms were a good size and generally quiet.
Most was very good. A couple of small issues. A fire alarm being set off early Sunday morning wasnt great. In the room there was no small fridge. When we requested a vase for some fresh flowers were told the Hilton (a 4 star hotel allegedly) didnt have any available, which seemed odd and rather disappointing. Restaurant was fine although, the menu was very limited and the 2 main courses we ordered were not available (on a Saturday night?) and so we had even less choice.
Receptionist helpful but has to queue on the occasions. Why not have more staff in busy periods

We had booked dinner bed and breakfast but the restaurant was close we were not told this when we booked in in fact we were asked what time we wanted to book a table for we chose 5.30 we waited in the bar by 6pm the restaurant was still not open we enquire at the Barton behold tge restaurant was close but could order food from the bar amuch less limited menu so we were disappointed with this
