Great for a One-Night Stay.
Pros:

The hotel is in a very good location for getting around central Dundee. It's very near the Dundee Rep theatre and an easy walk to Discovery Point and the V&A museum and the McManus Art gallery. Staff were friendly and helpful. My double room was spacious and clean with a very comfy bed. The bathroom was fresh and modern with plenty hot water and fluffy towels. I had the continental breakfast which had a good choice of food and a very helpful and efficient waitress. I would be very happy to stay here again.

Cons:

It is a traditional style of hotel, full of character which is good but I felt the decor in some parts of the hotel was in need of upgrading. However I believe the hotel is currently addressing this problem.

Very disappointed.
Pros:

FrIendly staff and good location.

Cons:

Hugely overpriced. Soulless, shabby.
Last minute booking as other accommodation cancelled. Paid far more than usual and hoped for something special at that price.

Pros:

Die zentrale Lage und der Parkplatz. Der junge Mann an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Frühstück ok.

Cons:

Die beiden Damen am nächsten Tag an der Rezeption und im Frühstücksraum wirkten genervt und zu Landsleuten wesentlich freundlicher.
Die Bilder auf der Booking Seite sind sehr geschönt und haben mit der Realität nichts zu tun.
Die avisierte Bar im Hotel ist seit langem geschlossen.
Insgesamt bekommt man bei der Buchung bekommt man einen falschen Eindruck.

We would probably book again as it was a perfect location.
Pros:

The location was excellent for us to visit family. We did not require breakfast. The room was clean and the bed comfy.

Cons:

There was only one bedside cabinet in the room. We found it rather noisy as we were next to where the house keeping staff keep their supplies and there was a lot of banging doors.

Kostenlose Parkplätze direkt beim Hotel, eine sehr gute Lage, freundliches Personal und ein sehr gutes Frühstück mit großer Auswahl.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Die alten Holzfenster schließen schlecht, wodurch der Lärm der direkt angrenzenden Clubs bis spät in die Nacht sehr deutlich zu hören ist. Im Bad roch es modrig, Steckdosen neben dem Bett fehlten und die Schlüsselkarte funktionierte bei uns zweimal nicht. Außerdem war nur ein Fernsehsender verfügbar. Da es für sechs Stockwerke nur einen Aufzug gibt, entstanden teilweise längere Wartezeiten.

I would avoid this hotel again as was expensive, premier inn is cheaper and better value for money
Pros:

Comfortable and spacious room: The room was a good size and there was enough space around the bed. The bed itself was comfortable.
Tea facilities: It was good to have a kettle, tea and milk in the room.
Breakfast: Although there was not a great deal of variety, I enjoyed the breakfast. However, it could be improved by offering some vegetables or other options for guests who do not eat pastries, bacon or sausages.
Kitchen staff: The person in charge of the kitchen was very nice, friendly and helpful. Their attitude was welcoming and made a positive impression.

Cons:

Reception and customer service: The receptionist was not particularly friendly or professional throughout my stay. Several interactions left me disappointed with the level of customer service.

I was given two door cards that did not work. Rather than simply checking or replacing the cards, the receptionist assumed that I was not using them correctly and demonstrated how I should use the card. I have stayed in many hotels and know how to use a hotel door card. The cards simply were not working. It would have been more helpful to resolve the problem rather than assume that the customer was using the cards incorrectly.

I also found it inappropriate that the receptionist corrected a colleague in front of customers. She told the colleague, “You used that door when it is clearly written that you should not use that door,” and the colleague apologised. I felt this was unnecessary and unprofessional to do in front of guests. Any correction or feedback between colleagues should, in my opinion, be handled privately.
Noise: The room was very noisy. I could hear people talking loudly outside the hotel, and the doors in other rooms made an extremely loud noise when they closed. The doors appear to be very heavy and close forcefully, which made the noise particularly disruptive at night.

Carpets: The carpets are very old and visibly worn and would benefit from being replaced.

Steam/vent issue: After taking a shower, the steam vent/release drops dark residue into the sink. It also makes a noise throughout the night, which was disturbing.

Aus dem Schlafgerissen ohne Entgegenkommen.

In unserer ersten Nacht gegen 23 Uhr jemand aus dem Hotel stürmte in unseren Raum. Als wir erschrocken aufgewacht sind konnte die Rezeption keinen wirklichen Grund nennen warum jemand in unser Zimmer kam, außer das anscheinend unser Zimmer im System leer gewesen ist. Nach dieser Nacht haben wir leider immer einen Stuhl a die Tür Stellen müssen, da der Flur immer sehr laut war und wir Angst hatten, dass wieder jemand ins Zimmer kommt. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls schlecht. Croissant etc. wurden über mehrere Tage erneut angeboten und schmeckten schon wirklich alt. Alles warmes schwimmt in Wasser (Rührei, Speck etc.) es gab auch nie pancakes wie angegeben und die Fruchtsäfte waren echt billiges Zuckerwasser.
