Park Hotel

Room was over bar area so unpleasant smoke drifting into room from smokers outside in the evening. This was probably only a problem for our room.

Breakfast

This is not a bad hotel but its geared to the busineas traveller and has seen better days. It probally serves well those with a keen eye on thier expense allowance. Food in the resturant is ok, breakfast very average

The bed pillows are about as flat and comfy to lie on as the potato cakes served at breakfast and the bed coverings very thin. Thw bed uncomfy. I tend to judge hotels by the bed and bed linen and in this respect its a big fail. I would not stay again.

The fish smell

The toilet pedestal moves. It is not attached to the floor. Very unsettling. Didn't feel like the room or bed were very clean, oh, and the pillows felt like thin bags of wet sand. I have a very sore ear.

Building was very tired, in desperate need of refurbishment. The room was pretty small, only enough space for one bedside table for example. No air-conditioning and it was quite warm. The curtains didn't block out much light either.

The rooms are very dated and the bed was like sleeping on a sheet of wood. The led light in the bathroom flickered on and off constantly when you was having a shower. The tv had no channels so if you wanted to watch normal telly you couldn’t. Don’t think it’s worth the £ 116 I payed.

Très bruyant, j’ai entendu 2 fois de suite mes voisins s’accoupler . Et les gens qui parlent dans le couloir super fort, sans compter sur les portes des chambres qui claquent très très fort.
