Based on two adults sharing, children stay free if staying in parents' room on a room only basis. Breakfast will be charged as taken. Full cancellation charge will be made for any booking canceled within 48 hours prior to arrival.
Please note that a major refurbishment and expansion works are in progress. The expansion includes a new 100 seat Restaurant and Bar Area, relocation of the Reception and Lounge Area and an additional 14 bedrooms at the Hotel. While the refurbishment project does not affect any of current facilities within the Priory Hotel there may be some slight disruption of traffic movement and workers throughout the daytime only.

The room was dated and not very well maintained. The carpets to the rooms and the stairs carpets are well worn and in need of a good clean, the breakfast was average. The location was fine, and a 20min walk or 5 min taxi ride to town. The staff were great but I think next time I would pay more and stay elsewhere.
The hotel is old and in need of an upgrade, the rooms are worn and not the cleanest. The selection of beer is limited and not great. I just feel the place has been neglected over the years and could do with some urgent TLC.
Went with friends. Twin rooms available, rooms off a courtyard we could sit all together outside our rooms enjoying the light evening.
Quite rooms comfortable beds had the best night sleep.

We were very late, but were met with a smile and told not to worry. the staff were all nice and accommodating, the beds were very comfy. All in all a lovely experience.

Arrived early but was allowed to leave my car 🚗 whilst we visited town.
Checked in by pleasant reception staff.
Shown to a room in an annexe building.
Shower 🚿 was electric but was fine.
Slept ok & it was quiet throughout the night 🌙.
Went for an early breakfast which we both found to be very nice with plenty choice, homemade muesli was very nice.

Found an electric fan in wardrobe as it was 23° but the cage part was loose, had to tip it back to work.

I did not really enjoy my stay here. Breakfast was ok. Staff were friendly.
Poor signage in hotel. Split on many levels. Shabby and tired decor.
The cocktails were not good. No fresh mint in mojito. I did ask and there wasn’t any. Was told it had some in the mix anyway. Why didn’t they send someone down to Tesco to get some? No air con in the room. There was a fan though. Noisy stay due to other guests.
I was at at wedding and was waiting at the bar waiting to be served, one of the bar staff shouted at me did you whistle at me. I said I didnt as I did not and was ignored. I brought this up with another member of staff after and didn't seemed bothered. So all I can say avoid the lady who serves with the short brown hair as they make false accusations. Having said this the blonde lady with long hair was excellent, even so this made feel awkward ordering drinks. I hope the lady with the short brown hair can be trained on how to speak with customers in future.
Great location with electric car charging. We had a courtyard room which was very clean and comfortable.
Two night stay whilst visiting the area. We had a garden room which was very quiet so good nights sleep. Good value with a free breakfast on the deal. No frills place which could really do with some investment, new bathrooms especially, just needs some TLC and maybe few small changes. Overall suited our needs and budget! All staff we met were friendly and helpful.

Location for us. The fact the room was like a little house instead of a hotel room along the corridor and was very quiet was better.
Bathroom was a bit outdated and my husband struggled with the shower as it was over the bath so with bad knees he struggled to get in and out.
