Lovely and clean, very quiet, food was great and the staff were absolutely brilliant (even down to the young new starter (your training programme is clearly working - very polite and courteous)

Lovely room, very modern, loved that it had air con.
We were attending a wedding we couldn’t hear anything from the wedding party from the room, which was a bonus as we took our newborn.
Only issue we had was we couldn’t get out of the building easily after hours.

Small room, dreadful pillows, smell from the shower, poor outlook on to roof with numerous aircon units, which made a water sound all night
Clean tidy rooms with air conditioning, great for the very hot weather. Friendly staff. Very quiet considering there was a wedding party in the same hotel. We had made our own arrangements for meals. We were only staying one night one the way down and one on the way home to and from our holiday in Norfolk, because it was too far to drive in one day.
I can't really think of anything we disliked.

being such a fabulous and picturesque building it is clearly a great wedding venue but unfortunately my room was above the function room which mean loud music until late into the evening.
It was surprising and rather annoying that there were no plug sockets (or extensions) near the bed even with my 2m charging lead I couldn’t get it anywhere near and as I use my phone to both go to sleep with (music / podcast on a sleep function) and then wake up to an alarm this proved tricky.

Nice room, comfy bed. Superb breakfast and a good variety of options for dinner. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
A/c not working in bedroom but they had supplied 3 fans to help make up for that. Some of the fixtures were tired e.g worn carpets and toilet flush buttons needing replaced.
But altogether a good stay.

Unfortunately we booked when there was a function on so was a bit noisy, but to be fair we were warned in advance also was woken up at 2am with loud noises, not sure what it was
We stay once a year to combine the Doncaster craft fair and meeting up with our friends in pontefract. Love the location, staff are always welcome and happy.
Only one concern was the pressure in the shower wasn't very good which caused the water to be not as hot, but apart from that the stay was wonderful.
