Situació
Location is great
Very good location , rest was in asian litle low standard. But for us great
Lokalizacja
Na śniadanie trzeba było przejść do innego hotelu. Niezależnie od pogody
The hotel is easy to reach from the nearest MRT - just across a busy road. Takes about an hour to reach, with a change, if you're coming from the airport. Staff were helpful; check-in was easy, OK breakfast was included, albeit in a nearby 'sister' hotel. Generally clean, all facilities needed were available.
My room had no view of any kind; the room was quite small (both quite common factors in cheaper Singapore hotels) with a cluttered appearance (an ornate sink in the room, not the bathroom); gold embossed wallpaper. Overall it felt a little old but it did the job. For a reasonably central hotel at an affordable rate, within easy walk to Clarke Quay and the old centre of SIngapore, museums etc., it was fine, but not fabulous (I guess fabulous would cost a lot more; this was probably expensive for what you get).
Location very good near Clarke Quay MRT, and a shopping mall across the road. Some food eateries in the location, although I didn't try them. Check in/out was easy.
Queen room was very compact. I wouldn't like to see 2 people in here with luggage...no room to move at all. Breakfast provided was okay I suppose but not worth the extra money. I would go and get breakfast elsewhere, and the chef was a bit grumpy...bad morning I expect. I did have a second booking for the following week I'd be in Singapore, but I cancelled it and found a cheaper more roomy and modern place.
The bed was small (queen) but comfy, the main reason for an overall 7 rating. The sink was pretty and the bathroom was small but looked recently redone. Shower was good.
The walls had stains and looked a little bit old and creepy. The room was very very small. The sheets had stains. No bottled water, only a pre-filled jug, we didn't know if the water was clean. We didn't try breakfast after reading the reviews and seeing the limited options on the menu. Rooftop was bland.
Zentral gelegen.

Great location, great stuff. Rooms a bit small but large enough for the solo traveller Highly recommended
Breakfast was not the best, so would not recommended it. However, there are abundance of local cafes and restaurants within a 10 minutes walk the hotel, and it is right next to 7/11 for late snacks. The restaurant 2 minutes walk by the river is a must-eatery for at least one meal per day
