It was good for me: Close to bus stop, supermarkets, stors of any kind etc. Within walking distance to the National Museum and the castle.
Front desk was reliable for all kind of querries, but not ready to give information about local buses.
The quantity of toilet paper was at the edge since I had a little diarreah and therefore I used about the max allowed toilet paper. It someone has a real diarreah you will need to buy toilet paper by your own.
It is not Saudi environment since it is the indian quarter.

Check in was good. We arrived early and paid a reasonable amount for early check-in. Stayed 3 nights.
Location was good for food and shopping but quite a busy populated area.
Room was spacious, however needs a bit of updating. Bed was medium to hard.
Breakfast was quite good and varied everyday.
We were on 7th floor, some noise from corridors of fans or air conditioning.
Highlight was the restaurant next door serving very tasty food.

The area isn't exactly the best - run-down and crowded, perhaps 2-3km up town it starts to look a bit more smart and appealing. Several bus lines run very near, in case you use the public transport.
The hotel itself is ok, slightly aging, but pretty clean and fairly comfortable. The window didn't close very tightly, so not the best insulation or soundproofing.
Supposedly non-smoking room had an ashtray, but didn't smell too bad - probably unavoidable around here. Some smoking smell around the building, and I saw some people smoking in the lobby.
For a hotel labelling itself a 'business hotel' you might expect a bit more, but in the end it was ok enough.

helpful staff; spacious rooms. convenient area (midway between masmak fort and the national museum), but it's not a very nice area--rather chaotic, noisy, somewhat dirty neighbourhood. hotel does its best, considering the area.

Comfortable stay

A combination of factors made my stay not pleasant. First about the washroom: there is no hot water (perhaps just during summer?). Also, the shower mount was damaged, and almost fell on my feet. Furthermore, the washroom tub needs maintenance, and the washroom needs to be better cleaned (At least flush the toilet before letting your guest in!).

Secondly, they did not allow me to enter the room because I arrived after midnight, on a NON-REFUNDABLE reservation. Then I waited for an hour while calling Hotels.com support, which they advised that the hotel had taken the full charge from my card. But since my bank card was not charged, I decided to ask them for a new reservation, and they allowed me to check-in early.

Thirdly, the GPS coordinates were not correct, because the Hotel was 1 mile away. Also, you need to drive through crowded streets to reach it.

To be fair, they had a really nice pool and gym, but I did not use it.

stay good, so extended stay by 4 days. total 6 days stayed.

The stay was very nice but the smell in the lobby is not good. The smell is typical Indian.

hotel from inside is great.

expedia didnot send my booking to the hotel until the next day so i had to pay directly to the hotel. and the staff was good to grant me the expedia rate . but hopefully I will not get double charge on my credit card

Alsi it was difficult to find the hotel. took us a lot of time to find it. hotel need to put some signs on the main road

the neighborhood of the hotel is not good.
