Coeur du Village
Pros:

Excellent rooms, great breakfast. Wonderful friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Cons:

There is no private parking for the hotel but free parking is available a short distance away near the Tourist office.

Warm and friendly family run hotel
Pros:

Warm and friendly service. The family who runs everything are super nice and helpful and clearly care about what they do. Beds were comfy. Showers were hot. Rooms were nicely decorated. Breakfasts are lovely. You can ask for scrambled eggs if you want a bit more than the generous selection of pastries, meats, cheese, yogurts, freshly made coffees. Dinner in the restaurant (when it’s open. it closed for the off season in the middle of our stay) was among the best we had in the village. Our Italian friends who stayed with us said the pasta was perfection. The location is nice. The walk to the ski slopes is just long enough that you probably wouldn’t want to carry your equipment. We rented a locker big enough for 4 people at the slope (Only Ski Express) for €10 a night which made life very easy.

Cons:

Not much negative to say. It was very good value. There was a bit of noise from adjoining rooms.

Fint litet hotell med personligt service och bra läge.
Frukosten var som man kan förvänta sig, saknade färska frallor men annars fanns det mesta.

Cons:

Chambre 11 à refuser; sombre, sans lumière du jour car bcp de passage devant la petite fenêtre.
Pas assez de crochets pour les linges, manque de lumière sur le lavabo.

Perfect short break
Pros:

This small, family-run hotel is an absolute gem. As the name suggests, it is in the village centre, about 5 mins walk from ski base. The owner/operator and other staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times.

Our room was comfortable and warm, and ski storage is available if you didn't pay to leave them at the lift base. Breakfast is a tasty continental spread - cereals, fruits, cheese, meats, breads, pastries, cakes. Plenty for a day on the mountain.

We took the half-board package which allows a choice of 2 course from most of the restaurant menu, which is a mixture of antipasti, primi, traditional secondi and standalone main courses. Note all the plates are full-size, so a couple looking for the traditional Italian meal could pick an antipasti and primi to share, plus a secondi each and have plenty to eat. Desserts and wine available at very sensible prices too.

Dinner is available a la carte even if you don't book half-board.

La Thuile is delightful and we are already trying to figure out when we can come back, both to the resort and this hotel.

Have stayed twice this year in Jan and Feb. Will definitely book again if we return to La Thuile.
Pros:

Great location and extremely accommodating and friendly staff. Great breakfast, rooms cleaned daily and the restaurant for dinner is excellent.
