La Thuile is a smaller and very cozy alpine town with excellent snow - and very nice small hotel

Pros:

Great Value for money, friendly staff. We stayed there second time and we love it. The breakfast are good, rooms cleaned everyday. What else you need when you ski with friends.

Low value for money for a 2 star hotel mid January. ~180 euro per night
Pros:

I stayed in a room located outside the property. At the time of booking, I was unaware of this fact. It’s likely my mistake, but I believe the property could have provided better information about which rooms are not connected to the hotel. Essentially, they acquired some external apartments and branded them as hotel adjacencies.

Cons:

The fact that breakfast had to be taken outside was inconvenient. The beds were small and not connected, which wasn’t ideal for a couple.

A lovely hotel in a perfect location
Pros:

There are many, many things to like about Coeur du Village. The location is central to La Thuile, within walking distance of everything including the slopes. We rented and stored our equipment right at the mountain, very convenient. Free parking close by. Excellent breakfast and dinner, with options for dinner elsewhere nearby. The family room was perfect for us and our adult son. The staff is absolutely charming. And the price was very reasonable, with a flexible cancellation policy.

Cons:

In our room, we had a spring mattress. We would have preferred a memory foam mattress.
