This is the best choice every time when I come to Roma ,the atmosphère and the staff of this hotel are pretty good, of course, the location is definitely perfect for the travelers, cos the termini train station is just 2mins walking! Will recommend this hotel to my friend!
My colleagues and I enjoyed exceptional service at the roof top bar. Bar manager Samanta and her staff were amazing. Delicious drinks and generous appetizers. We had so much fun, we returned for a night cap after dinner. Lucky for us, the same staff was still on duty! Thank you all! ( Visited July 27, 2026 )
Spent 4 days in Rome at this hotel.
Hotel is in a good location and right next door to the main train station. A lot of attractions are walkable but we got taxis everywhere as very hot.
Staff at the hotel are fantastic and could not be anymore helpful. They also made some great restaurant recommendations.
We had a suite, which was very good and spacious. My daughter had her own space in the living room and said the sofa bed was comfortable. My bed was also really comfortable and nice pillows.
A really big thank you to Elisabetta from guest relations. This was a last minute booking for us and she helped us book tours. Which are normally sold out this late. Great knowledge of all that Rome had to offer and all tours and tickets were perfect. We will return to Rome and this hotel, we have to now, as we have thrown our coins into the trevi fountain.
Thank you to all the team at the NH.

As a GHA Titanium member with a clear sense of what this tier of hotel should deliver, this is the first time I've ever walked away feeling scammed.
I took some time before writing this review to let my initial frustration settle and make sure I was being fully objective, and I don't believe this property reflects true GHA Signature Luxury standards. Here's why.
Cleanliness: The bathroom had a grimy, poorly maintained drainage grate and visible dirt buildup in the corners and shower track (see attached photos). I also found a dead insect on the floor. For a room priced at 365 EUR a night, this is not a standard of upkeep any 5-star property should accept, regardless of room type.
Billing: On top of that, and this was the biggest shock, I was charged 5.90 EUR for a branded bottle of water that was never opened at the table, it was unsealed house water, despite staff mentioning an in-house filtration system. To be clear, I don't have an issue paying for proper bottled water, that's standard practice anywhere. My issue is being billed for a sealed, branded product I never received. This is in a city that proudly offers over 2,500 free public drinking fountains, and yet the hotel charged a premium for something that wasn't even what it was claimed to be, which is exactly the kind of practice that made me feel scammed.
Room: I had booked a Premium Double Terrace. On arrival, I was told I'd been upgraded to a Suite, which sounded like a nice gesture. In practice, the room I received was the accessible-modified version of that Suite category, ground floor, with a layout built around accessibility features rather than the space, view, or finish a Suite designation typically implies. Accessible rooms serve an important and valid purpose for guests who need them, but calling this a Suite upgrade without mentioning it was the accessible configuration felt misleading, the label of a premium room without the actual premium experience. Street work outside was also audible in the room for parts of the stay, and the air conditioning unit was loud enough to be noticeable overnight, neither is a great sign of soundproofing or maintenance at this level.
Dining: At the rooftop restaurant, we ordered a salad for 25 EUR that had almost no flavor, consisted of only five ingredients, and the croutons were completely soggy. We left half of it untouched on the plate, and no staff member checked whether anything was wrong or asked why it was left.
At a hotel like this, you'd also expect small five-star touches, more than one bottle of water in the room, help with bags, turndown service, and none of that was there either. I also can't speak to amenities like a spa or pool, since nothing was mentioned to me at check-in. But I'm not even focused on that level of detail. My real concern is that this property didn't meet the basics I'd expect from a much lower category hotel: clean surfaces, an upgrade that's actually an upgrade, being charged accurately for what's served. That's why I'm questioning whether this still qualifies as 5-star, Signature Luxury quality.
On the plus side, toiletries offered good variety, and the team accommodated a late checkout request without issue.
For Context: I understand this property is located in Rome right next to the central train station, and I recognize that location alone carries real value for many travelers, even if some might argue it shouldn't be the main justification for a 5-star. For further context and comparison, I stayed at the sister property nhow Roma Vittorio Veneto, a 4-star hotel, just a week prior for roughly half the price, and received double the quality, space, and service. It genuinely makes me question how this property maintains an official 5-star rating, and what exactly justifies a 365 EUR price tag for what I experienced.
I raised these concerns directly with hotel management before leaving.
Verdict: Location next to Termini is a real convenience, but convenience isn't what a 5-star, Signature Luxury designation is supposed to certify, that designation should mean consistent attention to detail, cleanliness, and honest billing, not a coin flip on whether basic standards are met. This stay failed on all three.
We originally booked Hyatt Regency Rome Central, but due to delays in opening, Hyatt comped our stay at NH Roma instead. Since it was technically free, I did not have high expectations. We were on the second floor, facing the street. You can definitely hear the street noise, street sweeping, garbage truck, etc.. Our stay also included daily breakfast buffet, it was fine. But we got bored on day 3. Housekeeping was minimal, I really don’t think they vacuumed our floors at all. I wrote a note for housekeeping that are shampoo bottle was empty, and yet they did not even bother swapping. My note was untouched inside the shower. The shower stall was very small, but the pressure was great. We do love the convenience next to Roma Termini. But I doubt I would pay to stay here again.
Just an overnight business stay but so convenient to take the Da Vinci express train from the airport to the main termini station in Rome and literally cross the road to this hotel. I had a lovely room overlooking the small garden and station square and considering the location I was pleasantly surprised to be able to sleep with the window open without too much noise. Check in was efficient and friendly and super breakfast the next morning. My only criticism was a very slow waiter at around 5.30/6pm when a group of us wanted one drink before dinner and after 30 mins and a service of crisps, nuts and snacks and still no drinks, despite asking a few times, a few colleagues gave up and left.
I was worried the location by Termini would mean funny crowd hanging out outside the hotel but the area has improved a lot esp when comparing to similar locations in Paris around main train stations for instance
The hotel is clean, room are spacious and staff were friendly without affectation - and the AC had bern set to a lev comfortable without being a freezer like it sometimes is in hotels targeting American tourists so overall a good experience esp for a business traveler with the express train to the airport just a few minutes walk away
We very much appreciated the well trained and hospitable staff, especially Claudia whom was extremely helpful with recommendations and reservations.
The breakfast is excellent, great location and the rooftop is very scenic.
We really enjoyed our one night stay here. The location was terrific allowing us to get a train from the airport into Rome and just walk across the road from Rome Termini to the hotel. Staff were so helpful and accommodating and we received a complimentary upgrade. Having stayed at NH Collection hotels before in other countries we knew we would have a fabulous time at this one.
Amazing location and staff, specially Giulia, very gentle and professional. The view of my room was amazing.
The hotel itself is great! We did read some reviews of negative side of being close to Termini Station. We had no issues whatsoever in our case.
Our bartender Samantha was amazing! She was helpful, accommodating, and willing to assist us in customizing our drink and food requests! She always had a smile each time we saw her!!!!
Also, The young lady at Guest Services (her name I believe is Nyde) was amazing!! For every question I had, she had the answer, and she phoned the businesses for me making it easier to communicate my concerns with them.
Overall, our stay was great! We would definitely recommend this hotel!
