A pleasant visit to Pittsburgh
Pros:

We arrived by bicycle, and the staff was very nice. Comfortable bed and great breakfast buffet.

Hotel met our needs for location, room and breakfast. Would stay again.
Pros:

Perfect location for walking to conference center. Valet parking in/out option was convenient. Great breakfast options. Staff were friendly. Rooms were clean.

Cons:

Only two operating elevators was inconvenient and breakfast availability at 7am instead of 6:30am on Monday, because it was a holiday. So, we were unable to have our breakfast before checkout. A bit expensive room rate. Sofa bed was not comfortable; just felt springs.

Not so good experience
Pros:

Positives
- the staff during the day was very friendly and helpful
- decent breakfast with really nice breakfast area staff

Negatives
- our rooms were not cleaned two days in a row. Whenever you go and ask the reception the answer will be either they have just arrived and do not know why the rooms are not cleaned, or the house keeping is busy and may have missed it.

My questions are,
- if the hotel is this busy why aren’t there more staff to support?
- why are we having receptionist who cannot communicate properly?

I come to Pittsburgh twice a year and this was the first time I stayed here. It will be the last time I stayed here.

Positives & Negatives
Pros:

Let’s get the negatives out the way first! Room next to lift so there is a permanent sound of an overhead airplane as the lifts are in use. (Quieter through the night as less traffic) toilet not flushing & phone not working & blinds broken.
Now the positives. Lovely comfortable beds. Ideal space for a family. Nice breakfast.
Would I stay here again? Not sure. The rooms are very dated. The housekeeping needs to be more thorough but the size of the suite suits our needs.
