Very rude staffs
Lovely staff, they was so helpful,we ditched our rental car through the hotel, the restaurant was great .he brought our luggage to our room which was very cleaned.the pool is nice and made it possible for us to chill out in between our sightseeing trips.i have a great stay there.i would highly recommend staying at this hotel! You won’t regret it!
A lovely quiet villa, a 5 minute tuk tuk ride from pub street, the rooms are spacious and clean and the staff are friendly and eager to assist .
The young fellow working the counter was more than helpful during my stay.
From carrying my bags to my room to ensuring I knew all the services Champey Villa provide to maximise our time in Siem Reap.
The pool was a wonderful way to relax during the day to stave off some of the heat, from what I can make out, a great recent addition to a comfortable and welcoming hotel.
Check in was fast and easy and the staff were friendly and helpful, with a willingness to please. The rooms were large and good value for money. About 1.5 klm from the city centre, you can either take a $2 tuk tuk ride, or you can take the walk and encounter the friendliness of the locals as you walk by. I look forward to my next visit
Great budget hotel for a stay in Siem Reap. The hotel owners are so nice and really made me feel welcome. My only regret was not booking more nights as I wanted to stay longer but the hotel was fully booked.
Champey Villa is a lovely place to stay. Quiet and relaxing with friendly staff and not too far from the action if that's what you want. Thanks for a great stay.
Have stayed here a few times now and cannot fault this hotel, it’s a great place to stay with lovely friendly staff. Hotel offered lots of services, Tuk Tuk, laundry, and spa and. Beauty treatments.
Great value for money.
Highly recommend
This hotel is a decent hotel about a mile or so from pub street. The hotel offers transportation for $2 to Pub Street, but it isn't too far to walk if you're used to walking. We stayed for 5 nights, and once we killed all the hundreds of mosquitoes, it was a comfortable place to stay. The pool was refreshing after a long day at the temples, and the staff was quite friendly. Breakfast was great, and the hotel also offered sandwiches to take to the temples as well. They also help with tuk-tuks to Angkor Wat. This is a great service if you tire of all the haggling with the street tuk-tuks. Just be clear about what you want to see, and they'll arrange a fair price. Our only real problems with the hotel were the lack of English and an argument about what "Free Airport Transfer" means. For them it meant only from the airport to the hotel. We had already paid a tuk-tuk to drive us to the hotel since Expedia doesn't say it's only to the hotel, so I argued that I hadn't used their "transfer service" before, and they provided a tuk-tuk to the airport for us.
Hey really enjoyed our stay staff very friendly and helpful will definitely come back again
We had a great stay at this hotel, the owner and staff were very friendly especially Lim , nothing was too much bother and he was always on hand if needed. The hotel offers bike rental, excursions, beauty treatments and a laundry service which was very good.
The hotel is in a good location and having a hotel tuk tuk driver at hand was a bonus.
Breakfast was good with a few different choices and cooked to order. We enjoyed having the pool to relax and chill out.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and for value for money it will be hard to beat
Nice people
Easy to visit sights from here.
Like breakfast and pool
short walk to Wat Bo street
Good energy
Worked out well for me and my daughter, we will stay there again
The pool is filthy and internet is bad.
We had a lovely stay in Siem Reap and Champey Villa was great for helping us get our Angkor Wat tours booked. The ‘temple sandwiches’ were brilliant, made fresh, and good value for money (Particularly compared to tour restaurants!). Good range of breakfast options and a lovely pool to cool down in after a day stomping around the temples!
The hotel is OK, not as modern looking as we thought it would be but it was comfortable enough. It is situated in a quieter area of Siem Reap but is still walking distance to town. Linda, the receptionist, is great and super helpful.
They offer a lot of tours (and are quite pushy about it). We did the long trip to Angkor Wat which was very good, but didn’t do any others as it was quite expensive (the government has recently raised the prices of ‘temple passes’). We also bought tickets to the circus, which was excellent and well worth a visit, just make sure you arrive early to get a good seat.
We did encounter a couple of problems during our stay. The first is that we ordered a hotel sandwich for our trip but they forgot to make us one so we were forced to pay high prices for lunch.
The second is probably very rare and unlikely to happen to most people but there was a 3-day long funeral during our 4 night stay where music and chants were blasted outrageously loudly very close to the hotel all day. On 3 out of 4 mornings we were woken up at 6am, 5:30am then 5am and it was far too loud to get back to sleep. Even with good earplugs in it sounded like the speaker was in the room. We were assured it would only last one day, but alas it did not. However I do believe that this doesn’t happen very often and no other reviews have mentioned it so it was probably just bad luck!
Overall a decent hotel in a quiet part of town (when there are no funerals). Would recommend it.
We took a chance and booked this place online. On arrival we were greeted with very friendly and helpful staff. Check-in was a breeze. The owner, who had purchased the property this year, is a man from Turkey who speaks excellent English and is very knowledgeable about the area. We felt the initial meeting with him was a bit overpowering but we had been up very early that morning and had been in a minivan for 5 hours. We used his suggested company to do two tours. We felt well taken care of and transportation was smooth. Guides were available, knowledgeable, and professional as well as having a warm personality. The hotel itself was clean and well taken are of. Improvements were being made during our 3 night stay but it never interrupted the business or our relaxation. The pool is clean, cool and private. Perfect for cooling off after a hot day temple hopping. Some minor cosmetic updates are needed throughout the property and there was a problem with the hot water in our shower. Overall it’s an excellent value and we would highly recommend it. Definitely would return here if given the opportunity to return to Siem Reap!
I stayed there for almost one week and this place is incredible and peaceful. The staffs can provide all services you need at your door steps and the hotel have a restuarant which is open 24 hours.
This is a great place to stay as I was there almost for one week. Tidy and clean.
I booked my hotel intitally for two days and then extended it for couple more days. Highly recommended if you are looking for a calm and beautiful area to live.
The room was spacious and well air conditioned. I think it could do with a link of paint but nevertheless it was fantastic value for money. The breakfast was good, all the staff were very friendly and efficient and for me the bicycle to use was an added bonus. I did not use the outings service but it seemed great value for money and people I made friends with in my 10 day stay all recommended the trips. I enjoyed my stay but be aware that the restaurant is only really there for the breakfast. It's not too far into the centre of town by foot and the area is quiet.
